Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, yesterday called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other security agencies charged with the responsibility of handling the oil subsidy report to do a thorough job and prosecute all those indicted by the report.
Tukur, in a release which he personally signed, hailed the public hearing organized by the House of Representatives on fuel subsidy for providing Nigerians the opportunity to express their feelings and to make ‘meaningful’ contributions during the probe.

The PDP boss, who noted that the report exposed what he called ‘monumental fraud and corruption in the oil sector’, said the National Assembly should be encouraged to carry out such investigations to assist in the fight against corruption.

He said the PDP is in support of the position of President Goodluck Jonathan for a drastic action to be taken against fraudsters and any person discovered to be involved.
