A 67-year-old woman who was admitted at the hospital following a molest ordeal passed on yesterday.
Saline Achola who had been living alone in a one roomed house is said to have been attacked by a gang of 6 men who molestd her in turns.
According to the relatives, they found Achola in a critical condition and rushed her to Kabondo Sub-district Hospital where she succumbed.
Speaking to the media, Naomi Ichami confirmed the death terming it as unfortunate. She added that police were going to do a postmortem examination and establish the actual cause of the death.
She urged locals to always report such matters to the police rather than waiting for someone to die before reporting. Investigations are underway.
