In a video posted on YouTube Thursday, former hot dog-eating champion Takeru Kobayashi drinks an entire gallon of whole milk in about 20 seconds.

According to the clip's description, Kobayashi had set a record of eating 13 cupcakes in a minute, "so he needed to wash it down."

"Way to give 2%," one jokester cracked in Deadspin's comments section.

While Kobayashi was welcomed at Uncle Bob's Self Storage in Upper Saddle River, N.J., where he accomplished the feat, you may remember he was banned from Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in 2011 because of a contract beef. He used to eat the Nathan's competition alive, winning every year between 2001 and 2006. (Joey Chestnut won for the seventh straight year on July 4, downing 69 dogs.)

But recently Kobayashi has expanded his competitive menu to pursuits like devouring337 chicken wings in a half-hour and 14 original Twinkies in a minute.

Just mentioning those records makes us thirsty for a cold glass of milk.
