The Rivers State governor, Sim Fubara has ordered the immediate temporary relocation of the house of assembly sitting to the Auditorium of the Administrative section of Government House, Port Harcourt.

According to an executive order contained in a memo, the governor noted that the relocation was necessary due to the fire incident that happened at the House of assembly chambers in October 2023 by hoodlums.

This is coming after the Court barred Amaewhule and 24 others from parading as Rivers lawmakers.
