Eedris Abdulkareem who has suffered hard criticisms from rap critics and fans alike because of his self proclaimed African King Of Rap is confident in his ability to dominate the rap scene and regain his ‘abandoned’ rap title via his fifth effort aptly titled The King is Back which was released on the 29th of March by Alaba’s rave-of-the-moment marketer, Afrobest; marketer of Olu Maintain and 9ice’s albums.

Invited guests that were present at the Eedris’ album listening party held two days before the album’s release were amazed at the rapper’s latest offering which they suggest surpasses all of their expectations.

You would recall that the controversial rapper, broke his three year silence in music industry circuit with a brilliant performance at the Media Launch of the Kora All Africa Music Awards where millions of viewing audience witnessed his special performance in honor of international rap superstar 50Cent. At the said event, the Eedris expressed his profound apologies to 50cent for a misunderstanding that resulted in a face-off that almost marred his musical career. Now Eedris Abdulkareem has seized the opportunity provided by the positive media attention he has currently been receiving to unveil his fifth album which his latest single titled Last Man Standing.

Maybe I’m getting musically deaf, but shouldn’t an Eedris Abdulkareem album, plus news about a collabo with Ruggedman be generating some kinda buzz like right now? Beats me! Anyway, I hear he is working on a couple of music videos that should be on air anytime soon. Those who have had sneak previews of the video say it is going to keep the streets talking for a long time..I hope so!!

and his collabo with fifty cent....

There is nothing like that on the album. May be there could be a collaboration with 50 in the future but not yet. He keeps talking about his upcoming project with 50 anyway, we are patiently for that. The only song that relates to 50cent on that album is WELCOME TO AFRICA.
