Malaysia jails Nigerian student for heroin

A Nigerian student has been sentenced to 12 years’ jail and 10 strokes of the cane by the High Court in Shah Alam, Malaysia for possession of 90.99 grammes of drugs in Subang Jaya two years ago.

According to the Malay Mail Online.com, Judge Datuk Abdul Alim Abdullah handed down the sentence on Uchenna Onuzulike, 37, who pleaded guilty to the alternative charge. He was ordered to serve the sentence from the date of arrest.
