The operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested a 30-year-old man named Idi Adamu for segxwally assaulting his one-year-old stepdaughter.
In a statement issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, SP Suleiman Ngurore, Adamu was detained on Wednesday, May 1 following a tip off.
SP Ngurore further explained that Idi Adamu, a resident of Wuro Ardo in Mubi North Local Government Area of the state was apprehended following a complaint from the victim’s mother and the suspect’s wife.
