After the shameful dismal outing of Nigeria in the U-20 WC in Egypt, it is still the same sad and irritating “wobbling and fumbling” story of the senior national football team's COCAN struggle for tickets for CAN’09/World Cup 2010. As a result, at least 2 Nigeria football fans/enthusiasts in the North African country of Algeria are reportedly dead as a result of problems medically associated with the heart having been following some of the nation’s football team’s outings in recent times. Many a doctors have warned Nigerians who are hypertensive and those who have heart related illnesses to desist from watching Live Nigerian football matches till further notice…sounds funny, but its true!!! Very, very unpredictable weak eagles, what a shame to the giant!

NIGERIA MUST HAVE A WORLD CUP SQUAD TEAM BEFORE DREAMING OF GOING TO THE WORLD CUP. Indeed, what we have at present in Nigeria is a redundant coach with a redundant, weak, nay, not so super eagles’ squad. Let’s wake up from our slumber...for gross inefficiency, and lack of soccer foresight, Shuaibu Amodu should be shown the door. With him should also include his team of redundant crew. He is only being too interested in his bank account to give a damn as to the performance of the National Team.

A new beginning, a new soccer orientation and programming is a must for Nigeria. We do not have a choice, I’ m afraid. Football is the only event that knows how to spell the name of the much talked about 'One Nigerian Unity'...outside that, its a case of " to your tribes oh Nigerians". Sports, and in particular has acquired the image of a symbol of National Unity. And also a very effective tool for soothing up our miserable days in this era of  excruciating pains orchestrated by the economic hardship of the country.

There is need to device, not only a more effective ways of sourcing and recruiting the young football talents, but also for discovering and grooming of uncountable young football talents that die away everyday in our societies even before they see the light of the day. Real success is the child of progress; and progress is a gradual process; true successful football story of any country does not just come by chance, it comes thru a successful implementation of a well drawn out visionary football squad/team formation programmes, and that is exactly what we desperately need in NFA of Nigeria…ol’ boy leave, we don tire for dis people sef!!!  SAMIGOLD.
