Yet another South African superstar has been targeted by carjackers, this time it is singer Vusi Nova.
According to ENCA, the Walk Into The Light singer was found in the early hours of today stripped down to his underwear and shoes after unknown men hijacked his car and kidnapped him outside his house in Melville, Johannesburg.
Shortly after the news surfaced, his record label confirmed the news to be true. narrating how it all happened, his PA said four men “jumped out of a VW Polo and attacked Nova’s car.
Nova was traveling with four other people. The hijackers dragged Nova and one other band member back into the vehicle and drove off after a gun shot went off. The incident took place at 4:45am on Friday morning.”
Nova’s vehicle was seen in the Eldorado Park and Brixton area and he was later found in only his underwear and shoes after being stripped of all his clothes.
This surprising news comes barely two weeks after actor Dumi Masilela was shot dead by unknown men in botched carjacking job.
Luckily, Vusi Nova walked away from this without a scratch.
No suspect had been arrested as at press time.
