GBEGE! Drama As Bank Staff Mistakenly Stamps Customer’s International Passport (Video)

In what appears to be one of the perks of a banking job, a Bank staff would have a lot to contend with after a costly mistake she made with a customer’s international passport’s visa page

There was mild drama, at the Lagos Island branch of Stanbic IBTC , after an official of the bank mistakenly stamped the visa page of a customer’s international passport yesterday afternoon .

According to reports, the lady had submitted the passport as part of documents necessary for a transaction. However, when it was returned, she discovered the bank’s stamp on one of its visa pages.

The shocked customer immediately started shouting “Jesus Jesus, when did you people start stamping passports? ” The alarm prompted the manager to rush out to explain to her that it was a mistake made while trying to stamp some other documents.

Up until the time of this report, the conclusion of the disaster has not be disclosed, as the bank staff kept apologizing for the mistake

What is the big deal in stamping the visa page of a passport? I am sure the embassy can issue another visa with valid evidence and documents even if a visa was accidentally stamped. The bank can cover the cost as they already admitted it was an accident... Things are not that straight forward in Nigeria, but it can be...
