Jailed Boko Haram Confesses to Receiving 10K USD at Trial

Liberation colleagues were right to write that the Nigerian national arrested a year ago in front of his country's embassy in Senegal for alleged membership of a jihadist group, is in great trouble.

The form, showing black banner of the Islamic State,  which still remains to be authenticated seems revealing on the personality of the Nigerian who would have left the State of Oweri to join the State of Borno where he would have lent allegiance to "Daesh".

Asked if he supports Boko Haram, he answers in the affirmative and explains it by the "correctness" of the jihadist group's fight.

Godwin Okoh goes on to recognize knowing how to use a weapon not without specifying that he does not have one at the moment.

More seriously, the same document lends Godwin allegations that he has blood on his hands. In other words, the jihadist candidate in Syria is believed to have already taken the life of a man in July 2011 for reasons that have nothing to do with the Islamist cause. He says he is ready to start again if the need arises not without describing in detail the type of weapon he likes the most. He is also ready to rally Syria and return to Nigeria.

All things that shed light on the intentions of this fighter who admits having visited at least three countries, namely Ghana, Togo and South Africa.

Before the Senegalese investigators, Godwin admitted having stayed in Mali and Mauritania. Moreover, photos of him in Mauritanian soil circulate on the Web.

In addition to this compromising document, Godwin Okoh recorded a video (still online) in which he pledges allegiance to ISIS. Video that he claims to have recorded in Borno under duress.

Yet, in the face of police officers from the Criminal Investigation Division, the alleged jihadist admitted to receiving a $ 10,000 advance from an American named Ayman to recruit Boko Haram fighters.

He adds that it is this same individual he met on the net who makes him sing by disclosing his photos and videos. Godwin must be heard in the bottom in the coming days.
