You kept going back to the old testament. Christianity is based on the New Testament. God deals with people according to a dispensation. You dont put old wine in a new bottle.

TO MY UNDERSTANDING, YOU MEAN THE OLD TESTAMENT IS OUT DATED VERSION OF THE BIBLE. THAT IS HOW YOU PEOPLE TEMPER WITH BOOK OF GOD. I know you are waiting to pounce, bring it on, am fully equipt. The Christ coming is to fulfill the old Testament. That does not mean we don't believe in the old testament. It's said in the Bible that anyone who adds or subtract anything from the bible, so shall be done in his or life. WE Christians live in the NEW TESTAMENT. Let me ask you this: 1. Yes, there is an English translation (not English version). Qur’an was translated into Hausa language tens of years back. Remember it is the translation of the exact chapter s and verses from the Arabic text not another version. When a comparison is made, everything is the same, only the language. I know where you are heading to, that is a no go zone concerning Qur’an. From the beginning of Islam to date, we have only one Qur’an, no new or edited version, it remain ever one unaltered book. Bible is in many different versions, and do not forget to understand the word VERSION (S). Is it the same with translation? When you make a comparison between versions of the Bible, you can clearly identify many differences and contradictions between them. If you need a proof, I will provide.

This is getting interesting For the record, there is never a translation from other languages to English language or across languages that will give you the exact meaning; word for word, sentence by sentence, context by context, NO WAY BRO. even so English Language itself is made of of different other languages, and the meaning of a word in a sentence can be understood according to the context in which it's used. The Bible was writing in Hebrew or Greek ( I don't really care) The Qouran was writing in Arabic. WE Africans, we have our own native languages . Why the translation to Hausa ? is it not to be able to pass your message across. If a Hausa man who is not well educated in English language or Arabic (most I met cant) but is vast in Yoruba wants to preach to the Yoruba, he will only follow that translation in Hausa. I've read the English Quoran, each time I use a language translator to translate Arabic to English , I get different or unstructured English language explanation and this goes on. My question 2 is: Most Muslim if not all believe Christianity is an old religion. why is that so.? while I was in Abu Dhabi, I met a shop keeper using the Bible to wrap things; I asked him why, his answer was that Christianity is an old religion. I've heard the same in most Islamic countries I've been to.
Finally, I want you to show me in the Bible all the inconsistencies you think should not be there. Be carefull, am fully loaded!!

For the fact that some Muslims considers Christianity is an old religion, it remain your business to ask those who told you this not me. It is your business not mine.
Pertaining the man who you said used Bible's paper to wrap things he know the reason why he did it not me. For me each and every religious book is sacred and should remain as it is and respected by not tempering with it. I have seen with my own eyes uncountable times, a situation where a Holy Bible is thrown away by the Christians where even cars and passersby were matching and tripping on it. I do not know whether Bible was disrespected and desecrated in that case, by Christians themselves. I am honest, I saw this many times. May be it is no problem to you.
I also remember when I was at orientation camp somewhere in the southeastern part of this country, when a Bible was distributed to all corp members (New Testament). The distributors used to throw it at you, if you are lucky you catch it in the air, and if you are not, it will slip down and people trip on it before you take it. Qur'an can never be treated this way by Muslims. TO MATCH OR TRIP ON IT! IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
