My dear Kennee, Parent should knw their limit otherwise, they will control that man after the wedding..  Why didn't they tell the man from day 1 about this.  U can't take people for granted.

can you and your man afford a white wedding?.sincerely do you have enough money for both wedding and live after wedding(marriage).If you dont have enough money,then talk to your parents again.tell them you guys cant afford it.and seriously if you cant afford it ,dont do it.just tell your parents the truth and you both keep talking to your parents.

the most important thing is dat ur bride price hv been paid if ur guy dnt hv money for white wedding then let ur parent understand dat or better still dey shld sponsor d wedding or do inner house weeding no crowd
