Well, to me i think it is a self demeanig act for a lady to propose
no matter what the circumstances are. I prefer the
traditional way, which is, a man finds a lady to be appealing,
wife material type, and of course they both loved each
other dearly.

Some men do not have  regards for a ladies who is
practicaly asking for their hand in marriage. It`s not
common within the Africa cuture, and even if it happen
the guy will always capitalize on that when ever they
had any mis-understanding in their relationship." i did
not propose  to you, it`s all your idea". I don`t
encourage any ladies to indulge themselves in this type of self
demeaning act.

It depends on what you mean by propose, naija women will never ask you a question like
WILL U MARRY ME?, but they've a way of saying it indirectly like 'CAN I KNOW YOUR PARENT',
these is very common among the ladies, its a way of proposing to men in africa i guess!!!
