ABenin Republic national was allegedly killed during a fight in Lagos last weekend.
In the same vein, a bus conductor was also murdered on same date, in the metropolis.
The Beniniose, Choz Sosa was allegedly sent to his early grave by Seyi Kojo at Alaguntan, Lekki Peninsula, at about 10.30 pm.

Daily Sun gathered that there was a quarrel between Sosan and Kojo which degenerated into a fight that led to the former’s death.

The cause of the fight could not be confirmed as at the time of going to press. A man who identified himself as Mr. Peter Anthony, a motor mechanic disclosed that he saw the duo arguing over something but he was not actually interested until Kojo picked a bottle, broke it and stabbed Sosa.

The motor mechanic also alleged that he saw when Kojo gave Sosa a punch across the lips, adding that before then Sosa was warning Kojo to leave him alone.
The eyewitness added that immediately Kojo stabbed Sosa, he (Sosa) screamed for help. Kojo took to his heels in an attempt to escape but was apprehended by some onlookers. The eyewitness said he did not know whether he was later allowed to escape or not.

Daily Sun gathered that Sosa was rushed to Peninsula Hospital, Ikota, near Ajah, where he later gave up the ghost. A young man who identified himself simply as Jamiu said he used to see Sosa in the area. He described the deceased as a very gentle person who did not like trouble.
A police source disclosed that policemen from Ilasan Division visited the scene immediately and later carried the body to a general hospital where autopsy would be carried out.

Meanwhile, the case was said to have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, for investigation.
Similarly, a bus conductor was also killed along Bamgbose area of Lagos Island. The conductor of a mini-bus identified simply as Tire was allegedly murdered by one Titilaye Idowu.

Idowu was alleged to have stabbed Tire with a broken bottle after a disagreement. The incident, which occurred at about 10am also attracted lots of sympathisers in the area.
There were conflicting reports over what led to the fight. A woman, Mama Fausatu disclosed that Tire was the conductor of the bus while Idowu was a passenger. She alleged that they had argued over the balance of money Idowu said he was supposed to collect from the conductor.
When the conductor refused to part with the money, the passenger dragged him down and they engaged in fisticuffs. The passenger broke a bottle and stabbed him.

Another man who identified himself as Akeem Oluwaloju said the man who killed the conductor was a social miscreant in the area called Idowu.
Meanwhile, police detectives attached to the SCID are still investigating the matter. The police officers had also deposited the body at Isolo General Hospital mortuary, where autopsy would be carried out.
