President Teodoro Obiang Nguema referred to his one-year reign as Chair of the AU as a turbulent year when Africa went through revolutions.

Nguema slammed external interferences on the African continent, saying that they had elements of being disrespectful in the eyes of the African leaders and the people in general.

Addressing the media in the Ugandan Capital Kampala, Obiang Nguwema called on the west to let Africa determine its own future and desist from applying double standards and manipulating the continent for their own selfish interests.

Obiang Nguwema also warned Uganda to guard the newly discovery petroleum against western influence whose interest in the sector is deemed unfriendly in the progress of Africa.

Obiang Nguwema called on all African states to unite and fight western powers in order to make Africa a strong continent.
if africa dont unite now the world will again laugh on african leaders for being coward selling their soul & citizens for money.
