That  building wasn't due  for roofing,  if you ask me I'd say those columns were enough to carry the roof but the rear columns were not yet connected by beams to the columns that carry the actual roof members, more like the skeletal system of the building wasn't chained yet. The main cause of the incident to me is the client's  rush to put an incomplete building to use..... Or maybe one of the roof trusses failed thereby bringing the rest down,  it's not juju as some people have started insinuating here.
