I think this is a very incorrect statement. Judging science in absolute terms and judging science because of a poor-quality education program, teaching, etc., are completely different things. I can agree that very often the quality of materials or teaching does not correspond to the modern demand, but I will never agree that sociology is a useless science!

Interesting opinion. I also study sociology and do not agree at all with what you said. After all, sociology is designed to help humanity move closer to equality, isn't it?

Great article! Once I also wanted to study political science, but after starting to read books I developed my sociological imagination well and decided that this social science would be more interesting for me. I read a few additional hints and decided to study sociology for sure. But, many of my friends from the course did switch to political science after a while.
