A Bricklayer is More Relevant Than Those Studying Sociology - Reno Omokri Shakes Major Table

Popular author and lawyer, Reno Omokri has condemned a social science subject, Sociology, as an irrelevant course of study, and in fact a waste of 4-years academics.

The ex-presidential aide in a post via Twitter buttressed on the irrelevance of sociologists in the year 2020.

He said the return on investment for sociology is minimal, adding that it is a waste of time studying such a course for four years in the higher institution.


Omokri wrote,

What is the relevance of sociology in the year 2020? The Return on Investment for such a course is minimal. A bricklayer is important in his own way, a sociologist is too...,but for the very first time, I'll say Reno has a point. Nigerian universities have outdated syllabus. Even now, people in the US are complaining about their educational system, so imagine how Nigeria will be..some courses should be scrapped, others should be merged, then the syllabus needs serious overhauling.
