Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: Can U Marry A Disabled? |

| Hello Pals, Can U as a complete person either by omission or commission marry someone on while chair ? better still can U as an Able person out of Love marry a disable person?
Poster, I beg redefine your disable. If you trully mean someone on a wheel chair, I do not see anything wrong in that. All everyone should pray for in Marriage is happiness and good understanding. Looks should be the last thing as it does not guarantee your being happy in marriage.

| fellow Nigerian,i want you to know that if you just come bak from abroad them go look you high and companies go need hear from you b4 any body.........but the mistake they are making is that those returnees most of them are dullard..........we need re-orientation in Nigerian companies
Liessss. what dou you mean by ''most of them are dullard''? I bet you if you have the opportunity, you will not blink an eye before you grab it. Trust me, if you could graduate in Nigeria with a first degree with a minimum class of 2:2 with little or no resources (I mean no up to date study materials) and then go abroad for say a Masters Degree, Then sky would definitely be your limit when you come back home in as much as you have actually gone abroad to study and not to work 24hrs 7days doing cleaning etc. Y is it like that? apart from the internet resources which is available to almost every household in the developed countries, most things that happen as far as studies are concerned are all real life to you. For instance, the Governor of the Central bank of england coming to teach you in class and telling the entire class about the business activities and strategies that took place at work today. If there is a new science in the morning today, trust me you are sure of getting materials to read about it in the Library of your school in the afternoon of the same day. When on earth are we goin to achive that in Nigeria for instance. even if it does happens mopo wey go follow the guy come sef will not let us come into the class. The school itself will celebrate until the kingdom come. y? If there must be any re-orientation like you have suggested, it has to start from the Nigerian school and not the Nigerain companies. My brother, I am writing this from experience there is no comparison. I graduated from OAU years back and I did my so called ''project''. All the materials I used for the project were all from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, I went to the UK to do My MSc, afterwards and it was absolutely fantastic, I did a professional and then came back home. Trust me, I am just 35 and if I leave work with my achievementts now, Non of my children will ever suffer again in life. Meaning I DEY ENJOY THE UK EDUCATION no be small and I am putting what I learnt from abroad into practise at work. the things dey work for me big time. I am not saying staying at home to study is not good Nigerian graduate and youths are good competitors in whatever they do, but our educational system needs to be re-organised. Imagine a lecturer bringing an internet article to sell in class to students. articles which you could download freely on the internet. if you try to download your own copy online, you don fail. you must buy his own. Y? Believe me, there is know dullard any amongst them. I mean those of them that have really gone to study. Even those that where borm abroad too are very very good. Anyway, I rest my case

| I sympathize with her! is just that she till loves you bcos three years good relationship can't be 4gotten by ladies, but you have to get out of it. be cos two wrong can make a right. Pls ! may i ask why u break up with her initial.
Thanks Zarma, You see everyone in life has got different ways of doing things. I must be honest that she is an absolutely wify material, but just one thing which I know might cause problems if I had not left her. Whenever we were together then, irrespective of what we might be doing, my EX would never want any other person around even my own siblings and hers not to mention extended relatives. Because of this, so many people started keeping away from me. I on the other hand, I am a man of the people (I mean I am happy when I need to see people and they are there for me). I tried to correct this and made her understand why we need people around us sometimes but she unfortunately was not seeing things my way. Zarma, quite honestly I loved this lady but I would not withstand my relatives not coming to my house because of my wife when I'm married. I want to believe you understand what I mean. We are Africans including her and we can not change that fact. Funningly after I had left her for someone else, she told me that was the reason why she never really wanted too much people around us (i.e she was feeling insecure) that someone will might snatch me away when influenced by friends alike. Fish brained you would say, but this lady graduated 1st class in accounting and made me to understand that life is not how much book you know with her unchanged behaviour. Trust me, that was the only reason and nothing more. I must confess that I am a really really happy man with my family and that is why I have now finally decided to let go. I must say that everyday when I wake up, I do say ''God Bless the Day I met my wife'' because she a perfect woman. I would be meeting with my EX this weekend and hopefully we'll sort everything out finally. Thanks to every pal who has contributed to this topic. I promise to keep you guys posted of the outcome.

| Hi Every Pal,
I would be pleased if you all could advice me on the best way possible to tell her that we need to stop seeing each other without causing her any headache.
We use to love each other before I left her seven years ago after a 3year affair and get married to someone else afterwards. I now have 3 children, all boys. I love my wife so much cause she is open, down-to-hearth, infact she possess all a man should dream of in marriage including beauty. I mean she is really beautiful!!!!
But over the last four years, I have been cheating on my lovely wife because my EX-GIRL FRIEND would not let me be. I am also personally finding it difficult to stop thinking about her. Something in me tells me I still love her and I can also see all over her that she loves me too despite me status. Quite honestly, she is not desperate for husband otherwise I would have said she is trying to hook on to me. She has suitors but would not let go of me. I can now see this as an impending Danger since I would never in my life take on a second wife and if I do not stop seeing her as soon as possible, age would no longer be on her side as she is now 30years old.
How should I go by it Plleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssss?
confess to ur wife Thanks for wanting to kill my happy home.

i have to tell you the truth... ur ex wanna ruin ur life because u've ruined her life.... "30... still single... i guess u have to act fast... cos she ga plan for you... if you dont act fast... bro... sorry to say... she's gonna ruin your marriage... and even make your life misserable... Thanks for that, I want to beleive you read my post in full. Anyway I have not ruined her life as I could tell you categorically that she could be married if she wants to in a couple of months. There are suitors and I mean suitors as in suitors. Not giving them opportunity is part of those things that still surprises me a lot and I mean a lot. If only you know how serious this issue is in my hearth. Nobody is ruinning anybody here. Thanks anyway.

| What should be the best age difference between husband and wife.
There is no such thing as the best age difference between husban and wife as ''age'' is a thing of the mind and the most important thing should be love, understanding, and happiness.

| Thanks a million everyone.
My EX and I have nothing hidden as brightossy tot. @vivian07, my wife is even better in bed than my EX. U c, all these are some of the puzzles I quite find difficult to solve.
as for welli and vivian07, no quarrel please. Everyone has got their diffrenet ways of giving opinions.
Anyway, your replies (Imean everyone who has contributed so far) have make a lot of impact and I am beginning to strategise my quiting with my EX. I have never given the consequence of what I was doing a tot for once should my wife finds out. I would not want to do anything to destroy my happy and lovely family. It's been absolutely wonderful posting this issue on this forum.
One love to you all. | | |

Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: My girl friend and my salary |
on: 1-07-2009 09:39 PM
| Hi every one.I need to tell you this so as to read from you guys out there and see if there are people who will appreciate this reasonably and not with sentiment. I am a salary earner of approximately 100k monthly.I have a girl friend(whom i am hoping i could marry),an aged mother,a car,a two bed room apartment at Surulere, younger ones and cousins.I had to list all so as for you guys to understand the whole idea. This girl friend of mine blifs am a stingy person,(that she had said time without number) because anytime she ask me of money, she doesn't get what she asked but not that she doesn't get at all.Now she has come up with a means of getting money from me by telling one story or the other about her health running to between 13-17k monthly. If she is getting that per month, what do i do care for my car(very essential),my feeding, current further academic pursuit,my clothings,my monthly house rent(mindful of the area),utility bill(gas, electricity, water rate e.t.c),my aged mother, savings, younger ones and cousins who comes around me. Is it a crime/wrong to have a girlfriend, own a car, live in flat,e.t.c bcos am earning 100k?
My guy, this is not a matter of how much you earn it should be that of understanding. If your girl does not love you when you're poor, I beg run and never look back cos ladies like that are dangerous. How would you cope with 100K and your numerous expences plus your exorbitant girl firend? I beg run if she would not help you manage as she will never be a good wife material. Be careful. Meanwhile think of how to work hard and earn more income there are people out there earning up to N1,000,000 per month. If you need to, equip yourself academically and I can assure you that the sky would be your limit. Good luck.
