How i wish was so. Some wise man once said that, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride them. well, I aint a beggar but i sure would like some horses and then most of wishes fulfilled, starting with that, global warming would stop. Right now cos am so hot. Now idont know about you, But a few years ago, I thought oyinbo people were as usual making too much Fuss about global warming. My mind started changing when at the beginning of January, I am wearing short sleeves in Jos and in December, one is sweating in bed. The thing serious oh! Am a bit worried that, prophecy about the earth being destroyed by fire is going to come true in my life time. So, am taking my christianity very serious-just in case. How i wish power/ powerholding worked. There might be many comlaints about us Nigerians, but lack of resourcefulness is certain not one of them. This is becouse despite Nepa, our student still pass their exams. our women still cook in the dark after a hard days work, Wedey try, never mind that we may burn the food a bit more often or thst we may burn our bodies a lot more.
Its really irritating that one cant buy food in bulk (its cheaper & it saves you precious time too ). some of us mother-workers should be able to cook for the week and just defrost and microwave. Generators are expensive to run and dengerous and bad for your ears. how do you hear the neighborhood thugs breaking down your door above the noise of your generatur? Another horse i wish i had is good roads. I have lost half of my my friends to roads in Nigeria. not the once who died in accidents oh! But the once who have refused to damaged their hard earned cars by coming to see me. i dont grudge them, cos if i didnt live there, I wouldn't visit me neither.
Very few people have told me that they relax on journeys even when they have drivers
