I wish Nigeria could stop that bombing of Christian Churches, its tarnishing the image of Africa.

To be frank with you guys, Africa should never have those religious conflict because religion was imported into Africa and its not ours. Before white people send missioneries and Arabs to come and brain wash Africans in the 1800s, we were worshing God in our own way that was not Christian or Muslim. Now we have all these religions that causing so much conflict in our countries yet its not even our religion.

Please stop killing each other for other people's religions, I like our old religions back because they were safe and less confrantetional.

Nigerian pays woman US$10 for marriage of convenience

A HARARE woman was paid US$10 to enter into a marriage of convenience with a Nigerian who wanted to secure a residence permit, a senior immigration official said yesterday.

Assistant Regional Immigration officer Mr Francis Mabika said another Nigerian put a local woman on a US$80 monthly salary for entering into a marriage of convenience.

A third Nigerian man married two local women.
Mr Mabika said the trio had since been arrested and still assisting police with investigations.
Silvester Nwaozuzu allegedly paid Erina Matindike, a Harare vendor-based at the courts, US$10 to enter into a marriage of convenience.
It is alleged that sometime in 2006, Matindike was approached by Barbara Mwanakanda who informed her that someone wanted to pay for a marriage of convenience.

Mr Mabika said Mwanakanda persuaded Matindike to wed Nwaozuzu at the Harare Magistrates' Courts.
In her affidavit, Matindike stated that she committed the crime out of desperation.
"I needed money so I agreed to sign the marriage certificate," she stated.

Two days later, Matindike stated, Nwaozuzu approached her asking for her life history in the event he was quizzed by immigration officials.
"Since 2006 Silvester (Nwaozuzu) would give me groceries and bus fare to travel to Chiweshe every Christmas," Matindike said.
She said Nwaozuzu later bought her a refrigerator.

"I confirm that my marriage to Silvester Nwaozuzu was fake and I no longer want to go against the law," Matindike stated in her affidavit.
The facilitator Mwanakanda was, in May last year, arrested for allegedly entering into a marriage of convenience with a Nigerian man while she was already married to a Zimbabwean soldier.

Mwanakanda married the Nigerian in 2006 to help him get a Zimbabwe residence permit.
In the second case, Jude Amaechi Eze married Felistas Dune (29) in March 2006 after the two agreed on US$30 fee.
After the "wedding" Eze reportedly started giving Dune a monthly salary of US$80 and the two were not staying together.
Eze is alleged to have even promised to buy Dune a house in Harare.

The woman was yesterday picked up for questioning at the immigration department.
Dune was reportedly influenced by her brother-in-law Lovemore Machuma to enter into the marriage of convenience with Eze.
On Tuesday, police arrested another Nigerian Hilary Uwaoma Ajaero for entering into marriages of convenience with two women - Fadzai Charity Mazuru and Greater Tariro Gwekwerere.

"Ajaero entered the country in September 2004 and wedded Fadzai Charity Mazuru (marriage certificate number 2256/04) before wedding again Greater Tariro Gwekwerere (marriage certificate number 2683/04) on October 20, 2004," he said.

According to Gwekwerere the two met in Belvedere in April 2004 and were in a relationship up until August 2008.
She said late in 2008, Ajaero phoned her while she was in Bulawayo saying he wanted her assistance with immigration issues.
"We went to his brother's shop along Robert Mugabe Road where I was made to sign some documents but I didn't know what they were for until last year in September," Gwekwerere said.

In September she heard rumours circulating that she was married and that is when she discovered that she had been duped into signing marriage certificates.

"I would like the marriage certificates to be terminated because I want to move on with my life. I never stayed with him or did anything married people do since I signed those papers," Gwekwerere said in her affidavit.

Gwekwerere said Mazuru; who is now married to another Nigerian, Gozie Nwudoh; met Ajaero along Cameroon Street in 2004.
At the time the two were attending the same church.

Mazuru said Ajaero asked her to marry him so that he would continue staying in the country.
The same year, Mazuru got married to Nwudoh and she went back to Ajaero to cancel the marriage certificates.

Have you ever seen a Zimbabwean in Nigeria? You are definitely out of your mind or else you do not know your geography at all. What will be a Zimbabwean looking for in Nigeria, Zimbabwe is the second richest country in Africa apart from South Africa, so what in the world would a Zimbabwean be looking for?

ZIMBABWE has arrested eight illegal Nigerian immigrants who sneaked into the country using illegal entry points, it has been reported.

Assistant Regional Immigration Officer Mr Evans Siziba on Friday said four of the immigrants had previously been deported twice but had found their way back into the country.

All eight are in police custody.

Some of them were illegally running small shops in Harare’s city centre.

Mr Siziba said: "I can confirm that we have nabbed eight Nigerians who entered the country using illegal entry points.

"Four of them were previously deported twice and this is the third time they were arrested for entering the country illegally.

"We feel that our laws should be enforced and give them a custodial sentence. We cannot continue to waste resources and manpower deporting the same people."

The eight are Marcus Nwoni, Obioma Abasirim Temple, Tony Udemba Okuchu-kwu, Okafor Cyril Achinuke, Obumnene Ibell, Nkemakolam Udoka, Princent Ezea-sukulume and Gordon George, who was caught with a Ghanaian passport.

Many foreigners are believed to be staying in Zimbabwe illegally and are running unregistered businesses.

In recent years a considerable number of immigrants, particularly Nigerians, have been deported for various reasons.

Some of them had entered marriages of convenience with Zimbabwean women in order to secure residence permits.

Star Mhofu, Cape Town, SA.

DIGITAL satellite TV station M-Net should just call its now infamous Big Brother Africa reality TV show Big Brother Nigeria.

Thousands of fans and viewers across the continent and abroad were last Sunday left livid with the outcome of this year’s All Stars edition which saw Zimbabwean housemate, Munyaradzi Chidzonga — popularly known as Munya or the “diamond boy” — losing out to Uti Nwachukwu of Nigeria, on the last hurdle.

So much pain that some have accused M-Net of “favouring” Nigerians at the expense of the rest of the continent. Some followers of the reality show claim that the result was expected as the show was being run virtually by Nigerians.
“Munya was robbed of victory — M-Net (Africa) managing director, Biola Alabi, is Nigerian, presenter, IK, is Nigerian and even the performers on the night were Nigerian . . .,” claimed one disgruntled Big Brother Africa fan on one of the many internet forums where Munya has become the only subject of discussion.

The fan even claims that “Uti knew how the show was going to unravel; ‘prophesied’ that there was a second house, that two housemates living in that house will be brought back in the final week — even refused to go bury his father and moved the burial to November. Even the presenter knew the results before opening the envelope from the auditors — nxa!”.
Munya and Uti were tied on seven countries each, but an additional category, Rest of Africa, sent Munya out of the game. The seven countries that voted for Uti are, namely, Angola, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria and Uganda and there was the Rest of Africa; against seven for Munya — Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The other three housemates that were in contention for the grand prize of US$200?000 — Sheila (Kenya), Mwisho (Tanzania) and Lerato (South Africa) — did not receive any votes even from their own home countries.

By close of business on Tuesday, over over 1?500 people, mostly Zimbabweans, had signed up to an account — $300k for Munya All Star. MNet, we dont need you (sic) — on the social network site, Facebook, to raise US$300?000 “to give to Munya what M-Net robbed from him!”.
The Munya United Fan Club membership had also grown to nearly 2?000.
The corporate sector in Zimbabwe also seemed to sympathise with the young man and set up a bank account where people can deposit money for Munya’s cause. Businessman, Philip Chiyangwa, joined hands with the National Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment board chairperson, David Chapfika, to launch a compensatory fund to raise a US$300?000 respite for Munya.
Chiyangwa said the fund would enable Munya to get over the trauma caused by the final results. He said: “We are not happy with the way everything has turned out. The whole process was flawed. The entire vote was flawed; it was far from reality as Munya was the perceived winner. Even Uti who was announced winner expressed shock because all indicated to a Munya victory.”
Big Brother Africa is in its fifth season, the first year having been won by Cherise Makubale from Zambia; Richard Bezuidenhout of Tanzania won the second season; then it was Ricardo Venancio (Angola) and Kevin Chuwang also of Nigeria claimed last year’s grand prize.

Meanwhile, M-Net Africa’s managing director, Alabi, spoke on how this season of Big Brother Africa has been the most successful to date, according to the All Stars official website.
Munya was expected to arrive at 12.30 yesterday from South Africa.
Some of the comments posted on various websites:
We waz ROBBED again, M-Net used us MUFC (Munya United Fan Club) to make money and they dumped our Munya — Chief Svosve, Cape Town, SA.
This was a scam, am sure Africans should be ashamed of themselves, this guy Uti won because he is Nigerian just like the presenter of this show IK and the MD including Big Brother herself. It must be called Big Broher Nigeria, it was a joke, the guy was calling Big Brother “aunt” and it was like he knew all along that he was winning no wonder why he didn’t go to bury his own father who died during the course of the show. This is a fundraising from Nigerians, Africans must refuse to be used by these crooks next year, let’s boycott this thing, its a shame. For Kevin last year it was genuine, but this year even the other housemates could not believe it that’s why there were no celebrations and even IK could not hide the guilty face. They have destroyed the reputation of this show and I don’t want to see it on my screen come next year . . . No wonder why the main Big Brother UK wants to withdraw its franchise/rights with this guy. — dante, Zim.

We were cheated period. — Ngwarai, Harare Zimbabwe.
Big Brother Africa was clearly rigged. How did Uti end up being supported by Mozambique? How come Uti knew the game plan and at one time he even said he knew there was a second Big Brother house where the eveicted housemates were being kept before a few of them were voted back into the house. How come the Big Brother news was always hitting at Munya? Did Uti’s father really die, or it was a conspiracy meant for people to vote for him out of mercy. During his celebrations after winning, he did not seem to remember that his father had passed away. How come the MD of Big Brother Africa is Nigerian, the presenter is Nigerian. How come three singers from Nigeria perfomed on the final day. No one from southern African nations like Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and even from Kenya. I am responding to the RIGGING BY BIG BROTHER by reducing my subscriptions by half (from Premium to Compact), Big Brother Africa must pay for using other African nations. Nigerians are using scam to win.

This is the biggest blow to you Nigerians. For the next 10 years you will not  be able to get a visa to go to USA that easy. Not even other countries in North America.

I always wonder though, who started this mamble jumble that Africans are Radical Muslims?
Why in Afrca we can't have decent Muslims like Senegal, Guenea to name a few?
When did we Africans started that radicalism on things that does not concern us?
Why do we have to let other races come to Africa and brain-wash us like that?

At first it was the whites that came and made Africans to believe that they were inferior, good for nothing people who are just busy sticking spears into one another. Until now black people have not recovered from that brainwashing because it still exist in every book that we read even in African schools.

My fellow Nigerians, you have a bad wrap around the world already because of your shobby deals and swindles. Making it worse like that is not gonna help you or us as Africans.

Clean up yourselves man.

Why is it everyone is against the strippers? Stripping is a legal job that countries like Canada, Netherlands, USA, South Africa and many others actually provide visas for that industry. Their job is to entertain peolpe who are bored after a long day at work. The provide a service that no ordinary women is willing to do so why the fass now?

Nigerians you very backward if you think stripping is wrong. You need to smell the coffee and stop that nonsense.
