1  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Can she be the one? on: 16-12-2010 08:09 AM
I am a guy that have always believe in
friendship between opposite sex without
having anything intimate between them. I
have a female friend back since our ND
days in the polytechnic. We were so close
that people never believed that there was
nothing actaully between us except the fact
that we both had our seperate relationship.
We both finished our HND & fortunately we
were posted to the same state for service &
after service year i was retained by the
company & she has been without job ever
since. I have been taking cere of her
financially ever since, a gesture she now
feels she's indepted to. A month ago she
came to my place & asked me to marry her, i
was speechless bcos i never saw it coming.
She told me of how she has always loved
me ever since we were in school but was
afraid to open up out of respect for my
girlfriend. She has been through a lot in the
hands of guys bcos as far as i can
remember, i am the only stable male friend
in her life in a long while now. I don't want
to cause her more grief bcos she just had
another round of breakup with her
boyfriend & I also have a girlfriend whom i
love very dearly. Pls house advice me on
what to do.

Talk things over with her & let her realised that you both have come a long way together & that you know see her more like a sister & would like her to take you to like a brother.

Our stupid Nigerian Police will not accidentally discharge their bullet into this foolish man's heart, but will not hesitate to do so to an innocent Man united fan. This man deserve to be hang for crime against humanity.

When   the   Minister   &   the   Federal   Government   introduced   the   Re-branding campaign   as   a   way   of  repairing  the   already  battered   image   of   Nigeria,   many   especially   people   who  believed   in   this   country  saw   it  as   a   right  step   in   the   right   direction.   But   when  i  listen  to   the  honorable   minister  addressing   some  group  of  youth  on  the  re-branding  issue  &  told  them  that  the   continous  usage  of   NAIJA  instead  of Nigeria   is   the  unpatriotic  &  the   cause  of   corruption  in Nigeria,  i  was dissapointed  bcos   i  saw  Dora as  someone  who  will  never  play  polities  with  reality.  But   then  a  politician  is  always a   politician,  always   looking   for relevance.  Pls  Dora there are more pressing image destroying aganda to tackle  like stoping the likes of Atiku, IBB from contesting the 2011  election,  they are putting doubt to the sincerity  & credibility of our electorial systems.

I have a similar story like yours, My elder sister was in this kind of situation too. When her fiancee discover that she was not or should i say he penetrate her easily, he decided to call off the whole marriage issue cos he too was a virgin then. It took the intervention of family members and the church(pastors) to make him see reason. My dear report him to his family members and then his pastors, they have a way of talking sense into guys like this.

The person who posted this topic has his/her reason and must have seen some thread among the Igbo girls before arriving at this conclusion. I don't think this topic is open for discussion, it is a fact and if you aren't comfortable with it,''GO phyuk YOURSELF''
11  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: For love will you marry a jobless man? on: 28-02-2010 09:03 PM
For God's sake, why will a jobless man be looking for a wife. He should first get his miserable life in order before looking for an innocent girl to share in his misery.

13  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: SA: Zuma in a New Sex Scandal on: 6-02-2010 03:47 PM
It's quite unfortunate the kind of leaders that emarges in Africa. This is a man who pro to his election has alot of corruption chargers leveled against him, but he was aquited by a chicken board court. He masterminded the forceful resignation of the formal president who under his reign brought so much prosparity to SA but now SA has a HE GOAT as a president with a stop HIV/AIDS campaign. Who go stop who?
14  Forum / Sports / Re: Will Amodu Shuabu remain Coach? on: 29-01-2010 06:50 AM
Shaibu Amodu has done his bits for this nation. He has led the Super Eagles to their usual semi final spot in the nation's cup. I believe it's about time he gave way for a more technically competent coach who will lead the Eagle Super to South Africa world cup. Nigerians deserve more.
15  Forum / Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Ghana - African cup of Nations semi finals on: 27-01-2010 09:14 PM
The Super Eagles don't have the technical ability to beat the Ghanians, but if they do win the Ghanian they will definately go all the way to win the tournament. But i guess that will be a very difficult one for the Shuabu Amodu's side.
16  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Call girls revolt, say nobody can chase us out of Abuja on: 27-01-2010 08:40 PM
It think the Ekelebe(police) in FCT should redirect their energy to finding the President who has gone missing since Nov. instesd of chasing helpless girls around in Abuja.
17  Forum / Sports / Re: Can Nigeria win African cup Nations 2010? on: 13-01-2010 02:13 PM
I wonder what my fellow Nigerians were expecting from that match, a win or what? It's obvious that Super Eagles don't stand a chance against the Pharoahs of  Egypt. The Egyptians parade some of the best legs in Africa, highly dedicated & commited to their father land. They have one of the best coach in Africa & a very organise football house but we, the reverse is the case. We need to go back to the drawing back if we want to win matches because for me the worst is yet to come. Sha dey go go South Africa; huuuuu...................mmmmmmmm
18  Forum / Politics / Re: BBC confirms that the president is alive! on: 12-01-2010 08:39 PM
I don't know if i should called this a gud news bcos first & foremost as a Nigerian i'm happy dat Mr President is alive at least to avoid this power rivery with our Northarn brothers who will do anything to stop Goodluck Jonathan from becoming the next president & they may end throwing the entire country into another round of crisis. Secondly i think Nigerians deserves far more than they are getting i mean, for a nation as big as Nigeria to be ruled by a sick & dieng man is totally unacceptable. Thirdly i wish things have turned out differently, maybe just maybe Nigeria will be better off without H...............................
19  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: My target was Chris Oyakhilome on: 11-01-2010 09:13 PM
I think we all should learn from Ahmed, is about time we used alternative measures; i mean bomb to get our massages to our leaders. I believe they will start being cooperative once the 1st bomb goes up in national assembly complex.
20  Forum / Politics / Re: Nigeria threatens to sever ties with America on: 7-01-2010 11:09 AM
I don't thing those PO-LOOTICIANS in the Senate have any moral justification to act in this regard afterall it not one of their own that tried to blow up an American airline. Tell me, which average Nigerian who manages to escape this high poverty & unemployment rate, no electricity no fuel scenerio and what have you, finds himself in a plane to US will want to blow up the plane killing himself in the process; impossible it is their children that will try such rubbish. They loot our treasury use it to send their children abroad & when they get frustrated in life they do something stupid. Those thieves are just trying to cover their own ass they don't have the interest of Nigerian at heart. They are acting alone without the support of majority of Nigerian.
