I am a guy that have always believe in friendship between opposite sex without having anything intimate between them. I have a female friend back since our ND days in the polytechnic. We were so close that people never believed that there was nothing actaully between us except the fact that we both had our seperate relationship. We both finished our HND & fortunately we were posted to the same state for service & after service year i was retained by the company & she has been without job ever since. I have been taking cere of her financially ever since, a gesture she now feels she's indepted to. A month ago she came to my place & asked me to marry her, i was speechless bcos i never saw it coming. She told me of how she has always loved me ever since we were in school but was afraid to open up out of respect for my girlfriend. She has been through a lot in the hands of guys bcos as far as i can remember, i am the only stable male friend in her life in a long while now. I don't want to cause her more grief bcos she just had another round of breakup with her boyfriend & I also have a girlfriend whom i love very dearly. Pls house advice me on what to do.

It is only you who can make that choice, First did you love her? Why did it take her such a long time to open up to you? what are the causes of each brake ups with her ex. boyfriends?. And you what plan do you have for your present girlfriend? give us these informations then we what to tell you.

She's absurd! If she is aware that you're in a relationship already, what is she doing there? Moreover, that financial help u were talking about, maybe she took it otherwise! But you should stick with your girlfriend, and make the other girl understand the situation!

Hmmm...........probably she is afraid of growing old without a man.........but then you cant please her for her, what about your woman?...i think her request is a little bit selfish........did she put herself in the shoes of ur woman?........She is feeling indebted to you?........is marrying you the only way to pay you back for your kind gesture?.........i think not........I think you should save her the emotion, tell her early enough that it would not work, you already have a woman of which she is aware of.........

Hmmmm it was nice of u to help her with the money but not realy smart! It can be that she is afraid of growing old without a man or she feel guilty towards you!
How do u feel about it? Do u love your present gf in a way that it can lead u to marriage? Do u love your friend as a friend, or is there more behind it??

Look very well before you leap. let her know that it will not be possible, it is too late for her to inform you about her love for you. I even doubt it, becouse I guss time is running out on her, and the only way she could hook you is telling you she love you.

From my expirience....the truth remains that if u marry that gurl.u will make the most perfect home in the world cause she loves and die for u more, however, never u marry a woman out of pity or compasation, Go on and marry her if u have feeling en love 4 her...Wishing yall the best.
