this topic is stupid. every NAija woman has a different look.Every African American has a different look, some even look the same, most Naija people here that dont know me think i am Akat and my Akata friend is a nigerian. In terms of attitude it depends on the individuals upbringing, I have man akata friends some are just krazy as hell and some are so down to earth and intelligent etc. and I have seen many Naija girls here with so much class and others that are more ready to fight than Akata women. truth is you can not compare one to the other but truth is depending on what part of the states you are the types of Akata's you see vary from ghetto to intelligent and as for my Naija sisters you'll see many snobs and some very down to earth ones.
i undastand lynn...why i told that story was just to spot the 2 outcomes.....either they end up in love or someone ends up in regrets......either way i am nt in support of divorce bt i would never rule it out, wen things goes reallllly bad..thats all..
@onyin i passionate abt this topic bcos its not just one family i have seen this happen too bt 3family..i will give you the story of 2 family...my family first..my dad met my mum fell in ''love'' got married..(why i said love was cos there was another woman my dads family were forcin my dad to marry and this caused a big issue till 1997 wen i confronted my grandmum)afta a while pops got frustrated (i dont no why)...started drinkin..and beatin mum..brought gals to the house...afta all this mum still had a say in the relationship...she would leave for a while and pops would beg her back....well after years...pops got matured,...and i havent seen anyone in love like them..infact mum gave birth last year..afta 25years...this has to do with love been in the relationship,,, the second story....our neighbour at calabar..the man beats the hell out of his wife..always..my mum advice her to hold on...she held on..until march 24 1997(i rem this day cos its my brothers bday)her husband got drunk...came from wherever and electrocuted his wife..she screamed so loud,,,,we and neighbour broke the door and saw wat was happenin..she left the hospital afta abt 8months on a wheel chair..(sometin to do with her spine,,)..her parents could nt say a tin to the man cos he is a captain..and thats wat they wanted...i went to naija 2003...and heard the man has been taken out of the service and is married to a young gal..her son which was my junior at skool..is now a big thief...and all my mum could tell me was altho she adviced her to stay if she saw this coming she would have told her to leave.. so with this 2 scenarios .....you can see am not in for divorce..i am in for love been in the relationship...if there is no love..you are on a long tin.. so i ask u if you had to advice the second woman...wat would you advice her...??(btw she was a goood christian..i am a goooood christian..)
