If you do the crime, you may do the time in prison. This nigerian man will
definitely go to prison and have alot of time to think about his actions.
The report said the man was in possesion of forged credit cards. He
should have been prosecuted for that too.

When Nigerians commit crimes overseas, they forget that their behaviors
affect other nigerians in that country. It is easy for the police in some countries
to treat all nigerians they come in contact with as criminals.

UAE government should be thanked for sending this man to jail. If he had
committed the crime in Nigeria, he would never have been punished.
Some nigerian men do not have respect for the law or the police.
They take that disrespectful attitude with them overseas.
I hope this convicted criminal will learn some manners and lesson
in proper behavior in a civilized society.

Dan_Fulani, re-read the article. The man was approached by unknown 9 people before the incident. He was alleged to be in possession of fake credit card (Not certified) The cop was not on uniform (might be a thief trying to attack him.) I have abroad several times. When a Nigerian want to make payment with credit card, the card is automatically fake. So pocket your Fulani judgment.

Well am just laughing to see some of the comment made here, Proud to be Kenyan born British, I have the right to defend my country of birth.  Nigerian with their corruption were allowed to get visa @ port of entry in Kenya long time ago, this has also raised concern coz they have highly migrated to our beloved country esp in Nairobi. 7 weeks ago 3 Nigerias were caught making fake money ( Kenyan Shilling) and this is not the first crime related to nigerias in Kenya. Corruption has gone up sky high.  Some Nija movie stars r now coming in huge numbers to promote their movies which non of Kenyan were interested to watch coz of Juju related boring storylines which portrayed a very bad image . Now they have advanced ( thanks God) and r making it big in my country. There r two movies coming out in Nov 2011 which r being shot in Kenya by yr movie stars. Yr musicians r always in our country by the way.

Kenya is the best when it come to security not like Nija where there is kidnappings n gun culture. If u want yr business to succeed, try Kenya.  For those slamming my country, why on earth British pple hate u soo much? any fraud here there is a nija man behind it. I do feel sorry for u guyz coz not all r bad, a good example is my husband who I met 12yrs ago Nigerian born.  All his Nigeria frds who got hitched to nija gals have invested heavily in Kenya and they love it coz they r doing very well, some have moved there. Am not being rude but I don't think there is any Kenyan who will be interested to move to Nigeria believe me even when they give those visa on the entry. I've never heard any good things from nija, pple fighting for oil, n big men pocketing big money making the country to be counted amongst the poor countries in Africa. Is sad a country producing oil to be soo poor.  Let unite and be one coz Africa will always be classified as 3rd world country so u ain't better than any other African country.
 

Muslims worship one LIVING God while christians worship the DEAD son of that god. Muslims believe in Jesus as an apostle and a sign to mankind but christians say the SON IS THE SAME WITH THE FATHER and so pray only to the son and ignore the father. Simple!

I will want every1 reading dis post to pay attention very carefully. Islam is derived from an arabic word which means PEACE, though there are some bad element who are tarnishing the religion due to ignorance. On the other hand, christianity is the religion of the followers of jesus christ. Thus, a muslim is a person who submit him/herself to the will of almighty Allah(GOD) and also follows the teaching and suna of the holy prophet muhammed (S.A.W) while a christian is a follower of jesus christ. In Islam, a muslim should believe in Allah (GOD) and all his prophets without making exception. A muslim bliv in all prophets including isa(jesus christ) but christians only bliv fully in jesus christ, many christians don't really bliv in moses thats why they make exception of old testament. Christians don't bliv in prophet muhammed at all. The main reason was that prophet muhammed was the only prophet from arab, this was the reason y the christians refuse him, now ask urself "is God message meant for the jews alone or the whole world" so must God bring out his prophet 4rm jew alone.
