Surrogates  have used their compensation to make a down payment on a house, pay off debts, start a small business, or take their family on a dream vacation. It has allowed some of them to stay home with their kids instead of having to take a job outside the home, and others to go back to school so they can get the job they really want.

How much do surrogates get paid?
First-time surrogates receive a base payment of $23,000, paid in installments throughout the pregnancy.
Additional payments total $4,000 or more, which increases the total compensation to $28,000. These payments include money for maternity clothes, payment for completing the embryo transfer, and a monthly expense allowance beginning when the surrogate signs the contract with the intended parents.
Surrogates who carry twins receive an additional $5,000, raising their total to at least $32,000.
Women who become surrogates a second time have their base payment increase to $28,000. This means they receive at least $32,000 total, or $37,000 if they carry twins.

This money is yours to keep. You don’t have to use it to pay for medical bills or any other expenses related to the surrogacy. The intended parents pay for your surrogacy-related medical bills, attorney fees, and other costs. If you don’t have health insurance or if your health insurance doesn’t cover surrogacy, the intended parents will buy you a policy that does. They also purchase you a $350,000 life insurance policy. And if at any point you would like to speak to a counselor about your experience, the intended parents pay for that as well.

surrogacy has been in existence for for a decade of year, with some Asian countries like India having the highest rate of Surrogate Mothers, and surrogate parents prefer entering into deal with woman or ladies who have given birth before, because they found it comfortable with such a woman for carrying and taking care of the child while in the womb because of their experience in pregnancy, surrogate parents prefer woman who have given birth at least two to three times.

Each one of us, and, indeed, all those who aspire to national leadership must bring their own visions, views and styles to the business of reforming Nigeria, and the search for solutions.

we do not want war; but war can only be abolished through war, and in order to get rid of the gun it is necessary to take up the gun.

An Oscar means a lot of things because it's like the ultimate award for a filmmaker so it feels great. But I think you have to consider awards with some distance and not get obsessed with it.GEJ do the most important things that you are assigned to, while taking oat of office.

By SaharaReporters, New York

Despite rumors swirling on the Internet that Ikemba Odumegwu-Ojukwu has died in a London hospital, Saharareporters has ascertained from his direct family as well as sources within the hospital that the former Biafran leader remains alive.

In a telephone interview, Okigbo Odumegwu-Ojukwu, one of Ikemba’s children, stated, “It is not true that my father died.” Mr. Okigbo Odumegwu-Ojukwu resides in London and is constantly in touch with the hospital personnel caring for his father.

Saharareporters also spoke to a UK-based medical doctor involved in Ikemba Ojukwu’s care – and he also debunked the rumor of Chief Ojukwu’s death.

Saharareporters has detailed that Dim Ojukwu, a former presidential candidate, is critically ill in a London hospital.

In recent days, Governor Peter Obi of Anambra had used several newspapers and websites to create the impression that Ikemba’s condition had improved. However, several sources have confirmed that the ailing leader’s condition remains bad. Our sources revealed that Governor Obi’s primary concern since Chief Ojukwu was flown into London has been to cut medical costs. The governor’s decision to prematurely move Dim Ojukwu from a hospital to a rehab home may have caused the deterioration in the patient’s condition. Ikemba Ojukwu contracted pneumonia in the rehab home and had to rush back to a hospital.

Nigerians are well know on other activities due to Nigeria situation, but not up to the terrorism act. We cherish our life much more than anything, sucide bombing had never happened in the history of Nigeria, its a great pity that this Al-Qaeda brain washed Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab while as a student in London. I am sure they are not going to succeed with another person from Nigeria
