According to information, Prince Odi Okojie, Mercy Johnson's husband lost his elder brother, John Okojie to the cold hands of death in Kaduda just some days ago.

Steve Eboh popularly called Ajebo among his movie friends is no longer in the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria(AGN) presidential race.
Going by the information gathered from reliable sources,Mr. Eboh was booted out from the contest three weeks back.
The actor who joined the race late last year was screened out,when it was discovered that he could not obtain electoral form.
As gathered,Mr. Eboh was unable to complete the payment of N300,000(Three Hundred Thousand Naira) to obtain the form.The actor who recently celebrated the christening of his first child was said to have paid just N150,000(One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) and could not complete the other half till the time when the screening exercise started last month.
Without wasting time,Actors’ Guild of Nigeria Electoral Committee(AGNEC) bundled him out of the race.

Popular Nigerian music star, Dapo Oyebanjo, who is well known as D'Banj, has again landed himself into another waters of controversies.
You will recall that the music artiste was lashed out on by some fans just last month, when he was alleged of not showing concerns for fuel subsidy protests going on as at that time.
Just when some Nigerians were almost letting go of him of that, the kokomaster has plunged himself into another ocean of troubles.
In a recent interview with Saharareporters, D'Banj told the world that he never knew what was happening in Nigeria during the fuel subsidy protests saga. He claimed he was in the United Kingdom at that time.


But when asked if he also never heard of the London version of the protest in the UK, D'Banj said he was also not aware of that. He claimed he was also not aware of it via the internet.
He then went ahead to tell the interviewer that he was not concerned about all that (fuel subsidy matters) but he was only ready to talk about his New York koko concert, which held yesterday.


A part of the interview reads, "I have told you, I don’t want to say anything about that topic. I have a concert tomorrow (February 19), I need to practice and prepare well so I can represent Africa well," D'Banj told the interviewer, Chika Odua.
In reaction to D'Banj's interview, many Nigerians have condemned him over his alleged unguarded statements on the plights of Nigerians who buy his work.
According to some who spoke to Nigeriafilms.com, they wonder why D'Banj would show such insensitivity towards what affects those that pay for his services.
A fan of his told Nigeriafilms.com, "this same D'Banj would expect us to buy his album, pay 1million naira per table for his shows. Is he doing music for himself? D'Banj has lost it, for me, I will not waste my money on his music again."
A top Nigeria music artiste, who begged for anonymity told Nigeriafilms.com, "that was a wrong thing to say, D'Banj should have just used that medium to win hearts of fans who were already disappointed in him during the Occupy Nigeria protests.

"He should have understood that this same people made him who he is today. Those [artistes] that participated in the protests were not fools. I pray this does not affect his career in Nigeria. I just hope so."

The actress, who had a turbulent wedding saga before her eventual wedding on August 27, 2011, was reportedly summoned some weeks ago by her hubby's family, as an insider source divulged to us.


You will recall that in October last year, this writer exclusively reported that Mercy J, as Mercy Johnson is fondly called, was pregnant. Though the story was true but events changed things.


According to a close source to the actress, Mercy has been asked questions by family members of Prince Odi on why she has delayed in giving them the fruit of marriage after their marriage last year.
Though her hubby, Prince Odi is said to be suppressing pressures being mounted on his wife by his family members, but the source confessed that there might be a limit Odi cannot go further on the issue, taking note of his people's culture and tradition.


"You know that in Edo culture, the man's family has a lot of say in their lives, especially on marriage matters," the source told Said.
We learnt that at the meeting, Prince Odi was pleading with his family members to be patient with his wife, insisting that there is nothing wrong with his wife. We were also told that Prince Odi told his family that his wife's job was a demanding one, that she only needs their supports.

Bobby Brown, ex-husband of late song diva, Whitney Houston angrily walked out of Whitney's funeral on Saturday, February 18, 2012, just shortly he arrived for the funeral.
Bobby reportedly left New Hope Baptist Church, Newark, New Jersey, the venue of Whitney's funeral due to some misunderstanding with security personnels over seating arrangement.
According to reports monitored by Nigeriafilms.com, Bobby was denied seating spaces for all of his 9-man entourage. This development angered the ex-wife of the late singer, which led to him leaving the funeral in anger.
Meanwhile, Bobby later released a statement on why he angrily left the church venue of the funeral. A text of is produced below;
“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.
I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move.

The bubbly dark complexioned Delta born lady who owned Island popular Lounge, SQ Lounge, was murdered in her 1004 Victoria Island,flat.While trying to escape,Idris fell from the 6th floor and also died in the process.What could have led to brutal murder of Suzy Q no one can ascertain but information reaching us,have it that,the unfortunate happened after a hot argument between the duo.


Insiders squealed to us that Suzy Q and Idris were so close that he often slept at her place.This gave credence to the insinuation by neighbours that they were lovers.


However,one of her aides,who spoke to us under anonymity begged to differ on this. Yes,it is true that he passed the night at her place at times.She trusted Idris like a confidant and when they returned late from the club,he slept there because he drove her at times.That does not mean they were segxwal partners.

That affected me.I decided to include the younger generation too.I spoke with a friend who advised that I get the service of a celebrity instead of engaging service of a public relations officer.I agreed because I discovered club owners use celebrities.They believe that by hosting them,they will also win their fans.


I was linked up with D’Prince since he is a member of the Mo’Hits crew.I engaged his service to take my club to another level but I never knew they are coming here to use this place as a charity organization club.


I only found that when checking the account book,money was missing.I asked the manager and she said they told her not to worry that they will collect the money.Since they started working with me in September 28,2011,that was when the credit facilities started.


That’s from September till November 28,2011 when I kicked them out.The outstanding debt they incurred till November 2011 has not been paid.They kept giving me excuses.


Meanwhile,the case has not yet finished.I want to take them to court and make sure my N9 million is paid.
