1  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: Why Do Men Spend So Much Time Chasing Women They Don’t Plan To Wife Up? on: 14-04-2011 03:28 AM
Well, a good article I must commend. To the question why men go after women they do not intend to wife-up, I'd personally think its a matter of finding cheap pleasure or happiness... you see, "wifying-up" is not a matter of "just out looks or beauty" like you analyzed, but geting everything necessary in the right proportion in preparation for a lifetime journey, since after wifying-up there're few to no choices left... now in order to cater for the needs of the present, even if it just be spending some time in companionship (meaning not necessarily having to do with sex), one may choose to talk to any attracting female stuff out there that might not necessarily qulify for wifying-up!!!

One interesting point you repeatedly stress in your article is that of "A responsible woman (wife-able material) and jumpoffs"... I find this quite interesting and true!!!

As far as our law enforcement officials are willing to take the laws into their hands for whatever reasons the deem fit, maltreating civil members of the public to satisfy their ego with every foolish and feral attitude of theirs, seeing also that they can easily get away with whatever misconducts they discharge, given the type and status of our community, I would rather choose to, and also advice anyone who wishes to keep their peace and safety, to try every possible means to avoid their stupid grievances while exploiting every means possible to sensitize their school of thought with respect to civilized policing and law enforcement. For example, if I know that answering back at a police officer in seek of claiming my rights would instead grieve him/her and cause me greater loss, I'd rather endure. But for every slightest opportunity where I can safely and peacefully convey my opinion, I would do so without hesitation... e.g. via online media and discussions such as this. Sorry for your wounds Madam manager and I pray that the lord grant you justice against these fools as you file your case against them.

The former president, the he-goat who called himself obasanjo banned all these things and the corrupt riden customs officials have been feeding fat on smuggling. thank God it has changed and there will be no smuggling anymore

In my opinion, a little respect for our elders and leaders should not hurt a lot... you calling him a he-goat or whatever, does not abate his debts for you or lift away your grievances against him... it only makes you sound rude and offending... I also think its wrong!! Nothing personal though~ Wink

6  Forum / Politics / Re: President Jonathan Offered Us $50,000 Bribe, But We Returned It - Pastor Tunde B (Page 5) on: 29-11-2010 10:06 PM
God knows the truth... and our [my] prayer for Nigeria is that God would give us a true leader... though I personally know that there so many things to this, but the faith is tied to "there is NOTHING God cannot do"!!

If left to use alone, we would never resolve on who should lead us... for example, who is the saint? that has no sin so we can unanimously say come, upright man, and lead us, Nigeria??... We may look at and consider so many things, just like Samuel when he was to anoint David king, but God is not us... he does not look from what we can see alone...

The best thing every true Nigerian can do in addition to all our various efforts,  is to pray for Nigeria and have faith in God!! It Shall Be Well With Us.

i dont really understand why people refuse to get things straight. A pastor that said his marriage must be disolve because the wife is evil and demonic is not making stupid. he waers the shoe and knows where it pains him. for a 67 years old man and pastor to insist that a marriage of 20 years should be dissolve, means something is wrong with the marriage may be from either of them or the wife.
marriage should be enjoyed not endured. it is either you are there or not there. if a couple is incompactible, they should be seperated or dissoved before one kills the other. it is hourable to leave alife than in corpse.  i appreciate the courage of this pastor, if he wasnt a pastor he may have killed that wife of his' and you know nothing will happen to him in Nigeria. nobody will even inquire. i also appreciate the judge that dissolved them. it was a brilliant idea and move. marriage is not a do or die affair. you dont bring God into this. Nobody knows God in Nigeria so people should not bring God into silly thing. that he is a pastor doent make him extraordinarily different from from other and it doesnt make him timid or insensitive. Many men and women are going through hell in their marriages because they did not do thier home work before consumating it. they may have married because they needed to gain something from the marriage not that they really loved thier partners.
God should have been brought in at the point of starting the r/ship. but people will not seek Gods face then, its when they get into it and the hot air starts blowing then they will run back to GOD AND AT time it will be late. God is no lenders to the last resort. seek him first in everything you do and you will get a lasting and genuine solution. Again these new generation churches has complicated the issue of marriageby choosing partners with is unscriptural.  they match-make.no more courtship which is a forum to identify your incompactibily and compactibilty, please spear me this silly discussion, think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

with respect to Nigerian movies; all these things could be happening in the interest of some highly placed and connected citizens... But God is more higher and connected than they are... in fact, He does not need any connection to deal with them. Make God wowo all dem lives, yeye ppl.

Where are the 5000 soldiers deployed in addition to the police and other law enforcement agencies???

They should be very careful that no one dies in all these their stupidity ELSE...

What a shame! Oh God, please help this country change for good in Jesus' name.

The first lady has just shatered all our hopes on Jonathan, she has openly displayed that they are nothing different from piles of them there we're trying to run away from. So all those his sweet sweet talk is only lies and nothing from the inside? Why must she give rice at this time? even in Abuja, not to the flood displaced masses... (nonsence!!).

Them the people self, dem no fit organize how dem wan take share rice in a matured way and honorably? must they disgrace themselves and the entire nation because they want to eat free rice?

Shame on all those people and the first lady self.

This is a slap on the face of all Nigerians... see how civil servants and law enforcement officers are strugling over bags of rice, even in the FCT!!

Bag of rice my foot!

derbi, rocketship, iukairo and divineproject, I suggest you read the post once again and see for yourself if this guy has vision for Nigeria or not. Also check the comments of batos_locos, I don't think he is a fool!!! God bless him jare, he is a nice guy with a heart for the people. How many Nigerians are richer than him, that are only thinking of how to just add more and more to their hidden wealth? at least he is affecting lives and Nigeria is not left out!!!
