1  Forum / Sports / Re: Nollywood fuels Kenyans’ anger on: 25-11-2009 02:31 PM
this is the reason why i think Nollywood need to find a better way of showing Nigeria to the world.they tend to incorporate magic, crime and the likes in almost every film of theirs so much so that people now identify us with it.people often ask me whether i can also do magic.Nollywood need to be positioned similar to Bollywood,if you happen to be a fan of Bollywood, they are always trying to sell out their country to the audience through their songs and movies, they always talk about India and their heritage, thereby creating a sense of pride and patriotism.Nigeria is blessed,we are talented in the entertainment industry,i think Ms.Dora Akunyili need to look into this matter because the easiest way to reach out to people is through our music and movies which are loved by the majority of africans..

I believe in destiny and so think it CANNOT be changed.anything that happens to you either bad or good is already destined by God almighty.let me give you an example;death is every man's destiny.can u change your destiny and live forever?even if ur to stay forever[assumption],that is also your own destiny that you will stay forever.

11  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: What do men really want in a WOMAN?? on: 12-08-2008 09:08 PM
well,my answer to this is quite simple, while choosing a woman,i must have had in my mind what i want from her.i.e marriage or just fun.most men know what they want from a woman so if its just for the fun of it,you dont expect them to go for a christian or a religious sister.
In choosing my life partner,i look at everythin, that is all the good qualities which includes beauty, goodshape, morals etc.i even look at some of the slightest problems on a woman, which could be whether she walks recklessly or gently.sincerely speakin,i look at everythin!
this is baecause i wouldnt want a situation whereby after marrying a woman i start lookin at other women, although whichever woman you marry there must be anotherone better than her.
12  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: CAN U DATE SOMEONE U MET ONLINE on: 12-08-2008 08:56 PM
dating somebody you met online is bad idea if there is no proper communication btw the 2.it would be a nice idea if they both meet in person because sometimes what u see in the picture might not be what is there physically.and it is only when you have met each other that you will get to know some of her behaviors.
I personally will not date a gal i meet online,it depends on what i really want to with her-is it dating for the fun of it or dating for marriage?
13  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Are women better than men? on: 12-08-2008 08:52 PM
Nathyxx i back you once again.it all depends on ones qualification.and also the quality of school attended.but religiousely, man is better is both religions.any arguement on this?

15  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: An 84 year-old Nigerian man speaks on having 86 wives and 170 children: on: 12-08-2008 08:46 PM
I would like to make a correction about this post.most people espacially the non-hausas consider every hausa man to be malam, this is not right.it is just like calling every christian man a reverend or a pastor.this man to me is not a malam, nor is he an islamic scholer, but rather,he is not even educated islamically.this is because islam have a limit to the number of wives a man can marry, for him to have married 86 wives,he is surely not following the teachins of islam.so please do not be mislead,he is not a malam, nor is he a good muslim to be copied or looked upon.
 Thank you.
16  Forum / Politics / Re: Kano, Water Scarcity, Economic Decline, Infrastructural Collapse, Power Problems on: 30-07-2008 08:16 PM
humbled governor.in your topic, you named it as water supply, economic decline, infrastructural collapse and power problems.what you should have realised is that these problems have Been there right before he became the governor of Kano state.everyone is aware about the tamburawa water project which evidence shows that people are benefiting from it.the problem is lack of power for the pumping and this problem is also in Malam shekarau's agenda. His government is planning an independent power plant for this purpose.talking about infrastructural collapse, the Kano state govt recently approved a huge sum of money for urban renewal.the issue of power is not just tackled in the state capital but also in rural areas through the state's rural electrification program. As for the issue of economic decline, the state govt is trying hard to revive the Kano economy for it to fully reflect on its slogan as the centre of commerce, this can be seen by various ongoing construction of markets that would make business transaction easier. i am currently not in Kano but i am updated in every step taken by the Kano state governor.
I just think you are one of the PDP fan and nothing else.i guess you are also from kano state, where in kano state do u stay/come from?
17  Forum / Politics / Re: WHO CAUSED THE NIGER DELTA CRISI? on: 30-07-2008 07:34 PM
Benzion i really liked your post,it was as if you knew what was in my mind.i believe that if the people of Niger-Delta want their region to be developed, then they must give peace a chance.with all the kidnappings going on,nothing would change.the region will not develop.i just heard Julius Berger pulled out of the region. And again, take the North as an example, they get less allocation, but they are more developed compared to the Niger delta.we should ask ourselves why is this so?
With that being said,it becomes necessary for EFCC to prove the governors of the Niger delta and the people of Niger delta must give this administration a chance.

20  Forum / Politics / Re: corruption VS christians... on: 9-07-2008 07:14 PM
Quote from: fatgirl on  8-07-2008 02:20 PM
all human beings are corrupt be u christian or muslim, its an in-born thing. we ar all trying to be better persons. christianity or muslim doesn't make u a super-human so i think its better to deal with 'persons' in this kind of issues instead of generalising it to a sect.
-------------------------------
Fatgirl i realli enjoyed ur comment.it is not the matter of being a muslim or christian,we all know that none of the two religion supports corruption so with that said, its our fault as individuals not the religions. Both muslims and Christians are involved in this cooruption so plz lets not make this thing a religiouse issue.
  Thanks.
