Be dat as it may, the introduction of a higher currency denomination is a total contradiction of the Cashless policy, d CBN governor initiated. Why d need to carry cash to do business wen there's a policy dat says NO MORE LARGE CASH transactions if not for their selfish , non-traceble corrupt practises that is done in CASH!!
Why can't we learn from Zimbabwe currently suffering from serious Hyper inflation as a result of introduction High currency bill.
Why emulate Ghana who just redenominated their currency? Why can't we do same to manage our economy?
The answer is clear; if we redenominate THEY will lose the money already stolen and kept abroad. For instance if we redenominate by cutting down two zeros, N1,000 becomes N10 while N100 becomes N1. In a similar way one dollar will exchange for N1.55k. Therefore $100m will be N1.5m. Naira will become stronger against many currencies and stealing money abroad will become unattractive.
Let's all join hands to say NO to dis policy before they turn to Nigerians who use MILLIONS to buy bread!

My take is this; if poor Nigerians are goin to do some sacrificing, then all top govt. officials starting from Mr Preseident should also sacrifice there irrelevant expenditure (from business trips , seminars they dont need, health care abroad, orisirisi allowances etc)

The poor should not be the only ones suffering, PRESEIDENTS, SENATORS , MINISTERS etc who dont buy fuel should also sacrifice  someting one way or the other.
