To be sincere, what Keshi did to Ike is so bad. Keshi should learn to deal with issues on the pitch not with the press if he really want to be a good coach. No matter what he did before the world cup, does not merit the sort of negative words spoken about him to the press by Keshi and he (Keshi) is not meant to give Ike another call up without resolving issues with him. The dream of every player is to play in the world cup but Keshi dashed his dreams. Personally will feel same way as Ike.it has nothing to do with pride.

The only way out is correcting yourself. Tell him the truth and i bet you, he will not drop you but if you don't and he visits to find out himself, that will be the end
