Eze Ikonne, a respected traditional ruler should not have done what he did. I have no doubt he was trying to slight Governor Orji and by extension the President. I agree with the Abia Council of Traditional Rulers that Eze Ikonne acted ultra vires when he installed a Presidential candidate who only came to pay him homage such a revered title as Ogbuagu, even though I disagree with that that Abia Governor Orji has performed well.  This event is even more worrisome when we consider the fact that the fallen Igbo heroes of the civil war were given a befitting burial during the same period.  May be the beneficiary, who fought the civil against the Igbos must have been bestowed the title as a mark of recognition for the Biafran soldiers (the Agus) he killed. Very unfortunate. He should be dethroned.

Arresting and dumping them in jails across the country, where they are said to be untouchable is not helping us.  I was  informed recently by a taxi driver that in Kuje prison, you dare not talk to an insurgent in jail any how and that large sums of money is sent to them from time to time.
