161  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Why The Igbos Are Not Allowed To Share Lagos State With Yorubas- Femi Fani Kayod on: 9-08-2013 11:14 AM
Hello Mr Bingo! Historically, Lagos was part of Benin Kingdom. Please check your facts well before embarking on the truth you knew nothing about. Lagos was the capital of Nigeria hence attracted many people from Nigeria and all over the world for economic reasons. People did not and do not go to Lagos to settle for social and cultural reasons. Only for economic reasons. Yoruba people and culture are not the most likable in Nigeria - so stop deceiving yourself. I don't know any Igbo man that would like to be Yoruba. They come to your land to take what they need and want. I would partly agree with you if you were suggesting that Ndigbo born and bred in Lagos or not shouldn't participate in the administrations of Lagos state government. It will make sense if you were to raise that as an issue. But the Igbos in return could say that they are born and bred in Lagos or massively contributed to the economy of Lagos state, could speak the language, understand the culture and why shouldn't they participate in the administration of Lagos state? Indeed, Yoruba people in UK are participating in the government of UK. Those in USA and other countries tend to be involved in government of that state one way or the other without any problem. Why exactly is Lagos special Mr Olufemi Olowolo? Are you making the case that it is OK for Yoruba people to be involved in the government of another state or country but non-Yoruba shouldn't be involved in the government of Yoruba states? Is that your argument Mr Olololo? Is that your truth Mr Obafemo Obasongo? You really should try to get a life. Anytime the Igbos leave Lagos in mass, Lagos as you know it is finished. However, the writing is on the wall for Ndigbo in Lagos. You have obviously made Lagos state economically great. The natives are now jealous of your creativity and hard work. Is it not time you people start investing in home fronts? I personally never liked Lagos or any place I have to share the same street or compound with Yoruba people. So Mr Olobumi, you have one Igbo man in me that will disappoint your so called truth. I don't want anything to do with Yoruba people, culture or traditions and there are many like me where I come from.

Domestic problem is always private. This is your side of the story. We haven't heard from your ex's side of the story. You Yoruba people have ways of wowing men and women before marriage but at the end you find out it is not bed of roses you thought. Good luck anyway and get use to it.

Blah blah blah ashawo! That northern senator will feel justified now simply because this ashawo woman interfered in affairs that do not concern her. Leave intelligent discussions to intelligent people. What do you really know Stella? Just lie down, do your thing and collect your money. What is the name of that Senator again? The one you insulted publicly last time - yes .. Senator Yerima ( excuse me). I am sure you have given him one too. So what you are asking young girls with difficult background to do is to hop from one man to another just like you. I know there was something wrong with you and your family when you changed your Igbo name to Damasus. Damn you in Damascus big ass damsel. Keep boning those Yoruba and Hausa geeks after all they pay more. Ashawo. Please change your names again to Olufemi Oluwade Olumeni Oluashawo.

Way to go Emeka Offor. This will teach that blogger and others big lesson. It is Emeka Offor's business how he spends his money. He made the money not you blogger. Spending money on polio eradication is more inspiring than building community projects in the village that will not benefit anyone really. Villagers do envy the prosperity of the riches and will do anything to partake in. They are leeches that suck the wealth of hard working folks in the society and after they will wipe their mouths and start criticizing them. Build a village health center this year and watch it decay next year. What villagers are after is what goes into their pockets not what come out of it.

So they have started deporting Ndigbo from their own so-called country. Learn from this Ndigbo especially those based in Lagos. Time to go home and build your business in Igbo cities. Biafrans predicted this will happen and it is now happening and it is the Yoruba'r once again that are spearheading  it.

I know Nigerian Christians have half brains of a maggot and what I have been reading so far proves it. Those guys that had car accident, it wasn't your time yet but, it was a close call. You really should check and service your cars before embarking on a journey. Happy you have come out of this accident without major injuries but be careful when driving in wet surface and in the rain. Do not narrate your stories to attract false attentions and deceive others. You really should use this opportunity to convey very important message to other drivers to be careful when driving in bad road and always service their vehicles. Everything in life happens for a reason you should know that. I don't know any Nigerian Pastors that can spell the world Jesus Christ properly let alone interpret what is written in the bible. Good luck.

What did you expect. He is probably surrounded by the 'self righteous' who claim to love God but their actions show something else! The way, 'Christians' are thirsting for the blood  of gays you wowould think they were being asked to become gay? I also wonder if the God they profess to honour is  homophobic like them!!!
'Christians are thirsting for the blood of gays' - but Christians are gays. They are bunch of hypocrites that enjoy deceiving others especially low life people. They call the low life people sheep and their leaders are shepherds.

Psalm 14 :The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Who wrote the book of Psalm? Where in Africa did he/she come from? The pastor you listen and the church you worship in - what contribution have they made to this world? Are your pastor and the church not corrupt? You are using scriptures written when you know not to contradict your moral beliefs. Good luck - it is your life.

Point of correction bro - believing in Traditional African Religion does not mean not believing in creator (Chineke) or the supreme being/forces (Chukwu). We believe in existence of supreme power (force). As an Igbo man, we call upon gods for different purposes. Those using or seeing GOD as source of all moral authority do have different agendas in mind. Christians, Muslims and other mainstream religions use morality to control their followers and impose rules over them. Their followers are mainly idiots and lack the confidence to ask questions. Tell me who have seen GOD face to face and what rules or morals did he say you should follow? Don't listen to some of the rubbishes written in the bible. People interprets contents of the bible to suit them.
God luck being an atheist. As an African, it makes more sense being an atheist than believing in the mainstream religions GOD. I am not too sure if you are an atheist or Traditional African Religion (TAR) believer. I believe in TAR and we ultimately believe in supreme being/force.
180  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: REVEALED: How These Girls Are Used As Sex Slaves In Lagos on: 29-07-2013 06:22 PM
Let us put Nigerian hypocrisy to a test. Martha is obviously not a Muslim or from the Northern region but she is 15 years old with a child and a school drop out currently practicing prostitution. Do you guys prefer her to continue practicing prostitution or be in marriage where she can be looked after? I would really like to know the opinion of that reformed wh*re (Stella Damasus) and her colleagues in Nollywood. I suppose it is a woman thing for one to eat her cake and still have it? Why is everyone in Nigeria bemoaning that northern senator for proposing marriage for underage girls. Does Stella prefer Marta to continue prostituting or be in marriage where she can be looked after? Does she know the ills prostitution brings to a country and its citizens? Does she know the diseases she is spreading from one state to another which could end up affecting and infecting her child? Girls that marry underage are those that could not carter for themselves, with poor education and background. Why then do you prefer to push them out to the street where there are alternatives? You will be surprised to see that some men that marry these underage girls do it out of pity and rarely have sex with them until they become of age. Some girls are used as house girls and are teated very well. Some are given good education to enhance their developments. Some men do abuse these girls in marriage too. Yes that happens but young girls abuse happens on every street everyday and in every state in Nigeria. It does happen at homes in Nigeria too.
Early marriage may not be the answer but that Muslim senator recommended a solution. What solutions did Stella Damasus and her fellow wh*res in Nollywood recommend? We all don't have to be prostitutes in Nigeria and we all don't have to be Muslim or Christians. Early marriage for young girls and men are in line with traditional African religion and I don't see a lot wrong with it. What we need is good life education and better medical care. That is what development is all about not prostitution. Nigeria was our country and our land before the introductions of Islam and Christianity and it is still our country and land. These religions and its evils and diseases will one day disappear.
