Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: WICKEDNESS! More drama as Britain deports 120 Nigerians (Page 5) |
on: 10-03-2012 01:12 PM
| i think the way in which they are deported, putting dem in a cargo plane is not decent at all. but if we actually give this a second thought and not attaching sentiments to our comments, i want to believe a good number of these deportees had nothing doing in the Uk. Instead of respectfully coming back themselves before now, most don't want to make it look like they were failures and as such remain there doing nothing. As bad as it looks, they just have to pick up from some where and continue with life.

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Fuel Subsidy Removal : El Rufai + Other Nigerians Protest + Funny Alternatives |
on: 3-01-2012 12:05 PM
| i think the president is ill advice (surrounded by bad advisers). Removing the subsidy at this time is a wrong calculation. Most families before now find it hard to have 3 square meals, paying school fees, transportation etc. The govt is looking at it from saving 1trillion, but not how it's policies affects the poor man. If our refineries are working we should not be talking about any subsidy removal. Furthermore, Our dearest PDP have squandered the nations resources in the name of conducting 2011 elections. so the best thing is to force the subsidy pill down every body's throat whether good or bad. Come to think of it, the cost of running govt in Nigeria is just something else. Barack Obama US president earns $400,000 per annum while our own dearest David mark earns $3,000,000 per annum. Is nigeria richer than the US? Govt should explore other means of raising money and not causing hardship for the poor masses trying to pass through each day. | | |

| I think the boko guys are taking this too far! All the places they mentioned, if one takes a closer look we would find out it has to do with communal clashes that evolved to something else. so using that as an excuse to perpetrate wickedness is unacceptable. All the same, if we take a closer look at everything happening in Nigeria and other places in the world is a clear indication of the end times, so we should be prepared. finally, for those of us that are christains we should act it, there is a real difference between a christain and someone that just goes to warm the bench in church only on sundays. | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Goodnews, Nigeria now has First Female Military Pilot |
on: 1-01-2012 07:32 PM
| i would say congrats to her but the media is over blowing the whole thing. she is a pilot good, but with a civil pilot license and was commissioned with that into the Air Force. She has a long way to go to become a full pilot in the Air force with her civil license to be qualified to fly military aircraft. The way media over carry the thing e too much. i was even watching the news sometime back and wat the foolish reporter wey no sabi him work say na even fighter pilot she be. | | | |
