I'm not disputing that Islam is expanding...I just know that in the Western world, atheism is expanding more than any religion. Pubs cannt be "turned" into Mosques coz pubs is the main means of social life here n they wld do anything to save it from going burst. Did you get my message to ur box?

@SLimdizzle...
"About the West , I think i know what i'm saying and u can always google out this. Islam is rising, churches and pubs are becoming mosques, churches are becoming libararies"

Again the media "stories", anyone cld put any website on and say whatever they want. I live in the West and I'm actively involved in my society so I can tell for for a fact that ur assumption is not right at all...

A good percentage of the youths here dont practice any belief, basically they will tell you they dont believe in any supreme being.

Anyway whatever religion you "believe" isnt dogmatic at all ( faith, itself is a dogma, i reckon u agree), then share the teachings that cld help the youths of the world in believing there is a supreme being.

49  Forum / Religion / PRECHING????? on: 2-10-2008 08:54 PM
@ Slimdizzle
I'm afraid but it seems you got me wrong. I'm  NOT PRECHING to you AT ALL. I cannt be bothered what you do. Besides who are you to DECIDE what is right or wrong for me? I'm telling you to read the bible as an academia, read it without judging. Honestly, your stand sounds like it's out of jealousy. You cannt understand the Holy bible coz you aint meant to, just like some people cannt understand (how) that there is God.

I've noticed that your prejudice that Christianity is all about falsehood is based on what you've been fed by the media. It isnt your fault. The media are known to create confusion in the minds of the less informed. There are fake preachers in ever religion on earth. How would you explain those that profess Islamic beliefs yet destroy innocent lives? Have they got any right to tell Almighty Allah what is right from wrong? who shld live or die?

If Christianity is all about dogma, everything about live should be then coz there aint any logical reason for anything. You need to research my dear friend, read, then when you come up with sound and logical questions, trust me you would get so many answers than you can handle.

I believe in Jesus Christ,I believe He is the Son of God, I believe He died and rose again. This is a matter of faith..If you've read the Holy bible  (as claimed) and still dont get it, then as i said earlier, you aint meant to. It is a fact. Take it or leave it. Share with us the fruits, background and teachings of ur faith that cld help in our daily struggle in life and stop making urself look typical.

You obviously aint aware of what is going on in the West. (referring to ur comment to 9jakrazy). Some of them didnt leave Christiainity, they left God entirely. The UK's anthem still asks God to save the Queen. US still print "In God we trust" on their bank notes. So obviously they've got some faith left. Nigerians cannt live without the various beliefs. The era of "impossing" a belief is gone. Now it's the time to consider our individual selfs and strive to please Our God.

God bless us all.....Peace.
50  Forum / Religion / @ Slim....These are outdated questions plzzzz on: 1-10-2008 11:43 PM
My dear where hv you been....welcome to the 21st century.
those questions were asked and answered 2000 years ago....try reading the bible just out of curiosity..and without any bias..

When it comes to matters that you cannt fathom, all you need is faith or you just ignore it. Faith as you wld know is a supernatural gift from God that helps us to believe whatever God has REVIEWED. WE worshippers of THE MESSIAH werent there when history was made neither were you there when Prophet Mohammad got the Islamic teachings.

But honestly, in this day and age, the respect for other religions is wide spread. You either follow or step back. If you dont understand why a group of people worship in a certain way, read about it, ask direct, clear and clear minded questions before displaying some supposedly "smart" ( stupid, if i may say) questions.

Peace

i have  2 kids,i live and work in usa, which place is the best   to race these kids?nigeria or abroad?please i need answer with explanation.thank you as you contribute to someone success.

This is an interesting topic..I dont know alot about student life in the US..In the UK on the other hand, as long as you belong to an ethnic minority, you will need a boost of confidence to survive. Imao, growing up in a society where you are encouraged to see urself as important as everyone is  very necessary. Growing up in Nigeria will definately provide that. (I'm kinda comparing myself with my "British born and brought up" friends) Despite all odds, you need your kids to grow up right under your nose, wherever you want that to be...never leave them at the mercy of anyone else. Your kids will have to know that both parents are there for them, they have to trust your judgements and decisions. Above all they will have to learn to respect themselves and others.

Basically, growing up in Nigeria wld make all the above "virtues" easy to gain coz our society "enforce" them. If it's not possible to "send them home for grooming", the best place to raise your kids is  close to your heart.
