Now it's become conspicuous to me that you've got a problem with comprehension, because in my foremost comment I never mentioned " Bokoharam " specifically , I used the term  " Islamists "  But in your  hubristic blind rush to display your avowed " WIT " you failed to envisage that the term  " Islamists " could cover all the aisle / brands of militant Islam ( weather from Sunni  or Shia group )

Hezbollah indeed is definitely a terrorist outfit, in fact , they are wading in the cesspool of terrorism ! those arms discovered in their possession  is a fine-pointer to their involvement in terrorism, Are you too addled to imagine what such heavy military-issue arms are doing in their possession ??  BBC analysts are not the alpha and omega in matters of terrorism or Middle East ! How dense of you to base your hypothesis  on the fleeting points you gleaned from them .

As an avowed intellectual You still can make your points without resorting to school yard posturing or lobbing insults in all directions , I've seen some of your comment, I think you're just too full of yourself !
You're a blatherskite ! And the only troll here,  you go about quoting other people, latching unto their comments and calling them ignorant when they refuse to accede to flipped out views !!!

Well, fitting your entire vocabulary into a sentence is not a yardstick of coherent mind. The question is "Hezbollah linked to Bokoharam"? Most people are aware that US and EU (only in June, 13) have blacklisted them as a terrorist sect even at the disapproval of the Lebanese Government. So stop romanticizing over a common knowledge.
Like you said, you used the word "Islamist" as an umbrella term for all terrorist groups, I guess I helped you to contextualized it and linked to the subject matter.

Hezbollah is a terrorist organization according to USA and EU not in the whole world. even Lebanon do not support US/EU move. they are all politics. if anything ISREAL should also be a terrorist country because the fight is between oppressors and the oppressed and it is a case of fighting your enemy with ANY MEANS if they are stronger than you.

You know them well. But unfortunately AIPAC has successfully pressured EU to blacklist Hezbollah as terrorist organization (22 July 2013).

Mr smart Ass, you just threw yourself under bus !  Perhaps you got confused by the word " proxy "  Hezbollah sure does Iran's dirty works, like in Syria , under the Iranian directive they are fighting along side the forces of Barsha Assad,( Assad is an Alawite, an off shoot of Shia Islam ). for the Iranians wouldn't want to be forthrightly involved because of the fallout, - any direct Iranian involvement in Syria is bound to bring the Saudis and the rest of the Sunni Arabs into the fray ,

In your own warped perspective Hezbollah may not be a terrorist organization but they've been designated as so , by the U S, Australia , canada , Isreal , France, and the European Union , don't be in a hurry to forget that Hezbollah popularized suicide bombings as an affective terrorist tactic in the early 1980s , They have been implicated in kidnappings for ransom or weapons, and airline hijackings , the list of Hezbollah's terror activities is endless but for time and space I can't elaborate .

In the Middle East and the Islamic world in general. The Iranians and the Saudis are vying for religious and political influence,  despite the fact that they have clashing objectives, they both maintain terror outfits, as long as Hezbollah is involved with the discovered weapons, Bokoharam an off shoot of Sunni Islam may not be the only Islamic terrorist group involved in the insurgency in northern Nigeria  !!!

Only the fool will think he has a monopoly of wisdom,  I'll accept your challenge any day on a debate about Middle East . !!!

Mr. internet warrior! Mr. Proxy!  It is remarkably sad watching you trying to fit common news reports into your allusions. However, I'm satisfied that you're not so dull-witted but surely you're a  victim of false consciousness. Before you completely divert to extraneous event that happened in the middle east, you should not forget you were linking Hezbollah to Bokoharam, which is utterly  specious.  Even BBC analysts were surprise about the apparent linkage  (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-25160682) read all. I'm sure that  in a battle of wits, you're the unarmed man.  You must be one those nescient trolls, always calling for a debate on the net. Keep the ignorance to yourself, you know it could be a blissful.

How funny you thought "proxy" is an  extraordinary word!!!  Little knowledge is very dangerous.

Is just like driving on a motor way without licence in the UK or US. If you are caught, no one wants to know you are a widow or not.. Fine what he said was
not good but it was just out of anger. That is while things will never be normal in Nigeria....set of idiots both leaders and followers.

Go and re-read your birth certificate, you will see it is an apology letter from a condom company. Branding everyone in this forum "fools" shows that family training eluded your ancestors and  down to you.  I'm sure you have not traveled across the borders of Nigeria to see what law enforcement looks like.

Lebanese are a blight on the landscape !  It would have been better to execute them all !  What was their true intentions for having such heavy weapons in their possession ?  Armed with Iranian cash and weapons, Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy that does most of its dirty works, it wouldn't be far off the mark to imagine that those heavy weapons were meant to help the Islamists spread terror further across the country !!!

Stop advertising your ignorance on the net. You don't know a dime about the Middle east. Hezbollah is a Shia military wing of a political party in Lebanon. Trained by the Iranian Government to resist the invasion of Israel. Boko Haram is a Sunni, Salafi fundamentalists (terrorist),  whose political goal is to spread pure  Islam and dominate the world through Jihad,  mostly sponsored by Saudi Arabia whenever it suits them, e.g. in Syria.  There's no connection between the two sect in terms of teachings and political goals.

Don't blame the  Mr. Onu. Those men made him the Governor in the first place. Just as they rescued Ngige at the clutches of god fathers' in Anambra State. Our votes never counted....that's Nigeria ooo.

among the Edos, when we are arguing or angry with someone, and we say "ya wu" (literal translation-- "go and die)
it does not mean  go and kill yourself. it really means "i don't believe you,....get out.

remember that Gov. Oshiomole is  widower himself.....so he knows the pain of such loss.  so he may have  prematurely
thought that the woman was using that sympathy line to reinforce her pleadings for her wares not to be seized.

however an unreserved apology would be in order since he is a public officer and  humility is required from ALL Edo state citizens.

Thanks for defending his words...what about his actions?

I guess you're very slow in interpreting visual scripts. Let me help you out. Adams shares in a collective political identity called APC. His political identity is seamlessly aligned to that political party. I hope this is enough....If not, think about the role political party played when Amaechi won a legal battle against Omehia.

APC's Adams is concerned about traffic hazards in Nigeria but haven't said or done anything about environmental degradation, destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of wildlife in Niger Delta. Who's deceiving who? PDP and APC are the same criminals.........

Jasitop, judging from what you posted here, instead of addressing issues like matured and grown-up citizens, you posted more of nonsense than sense and this is why Nigerians are tired of people like you and your antics. Your only stock in trade is to further impoverish Nigerians and destroy the very fabric of our existence while you live in opulence and luxury. People like you are always in denial of the truth and I have great news for you, Nigeria and Nigerians will survive and you and your mentor will live to regret your impending loss in 2015. Whether you like it or not, whether you believe it or not, the poverty stricken people of Nigeria will be liberated from the clutches of poor governance of Jonathan your mentor and the “best president in your dream”. Any other government will be better off for us than that of Jonathan. Know that I am apolitical and my only wish is for better Nigeria where our children and children’s children will live happily and be proud of. We Nigerians deserve better than all these nonsense that Nigeria is passing through in the hands of Jonathan and his fellow criminals. If APC wins and misbehaves, the masses of our people will equally show them the way out and very quickly too. Our love is for the suffering masses with no voice. The river bank is closer and better for salvaging a sinking boat than the abyss. Jasitop, grow up!!!

Try harder because it is clear that you have a diarrhea of the mouth and unfortunately, constipation of the ideas. Where did you read that I have a dog in this fight?  "I do not support Jonathan's PDP, neither do I support APC". Both parties have cavalier attitude toward the problems of Nigerians. For the sake of clarity, I do not encourage this preexisting political structure that is very narrow and serve only few people. APC and PDP are only slim prescriptive political parameters that will continue to change within a corrupt framework.  That's why politicians like Ibrahim Babangida (IBB) have called for a two political system. Underlying this quest is "easy control of power and wealth".
Moreover, how could you possibly think that APC will close the gap of economic disparity between the ruling class and working class in Nigeria? Haven't you read that wealth and power is a source of control and influence in any society(K. Marx)? Closing this gap means lost of control for the ruling class. As such, voting for either PDP or APC is a tacit complicity with this morally-defunct political framework. I suggest you read Nigerian history very well to understand how this current political structure was set up and make sure you don't dent your understanding with sentiments.
As long as the working class (U and I) continue to dance to the tunes of these current political parties, which is much driven by ethnic and religious lines,  we will continue to struggle. Unfortunately, you sounded like a victim of false consciousnesses and as such, needed to be disenchanted.

Jasitop(35). You must have your head examined if you think I'm not smart. On which planet do you live? Your own Jonathan has destroyed all forms of dignity and pride in Nigerians. He is the worst president ever to rule Nigeria. He became President by an act of God but failed woefully to perform. His government is morbidly inept. He will have to annihilate majority of the Nigerian electorate to be able to actualize his second term 'win'. And you will soon realize that Power only belongs to the people and the suffering masses of Nigeria who are groaning under the misrule of Jonathan. No amount of rigging and falsification of election results can enable him win the 2015 presidential election. We were excited when Jonathan came in as President but all hope is lost because his government steals money with impunity and without regards to the suffering masses of Nigeria. It is very difficult for the unemployed to secure gainful employment anywhere in the country excepting for a handful of favored and privileged few. The country Nigeria is worse for Jonathan's misrule. The prolonged ASUU strike is a case in point. Jonathan is a laughing stock because he has a Minister of 'Education' who should take charge of the ministry and negotiate with the striking lecturers but all else failed so far. This is a gross lack of leadership skills. Why can't he replace the minister or delegate a committee to negotiate with ASUU? This is Politics 101. As a result of the uncertainty in the educational sector, more Nigerians are now trooping to Ghana to acquire university education. This is just a case in point but there are many other areas where Jonathan has failed woefully much more than all his predecessors put together. Look everywhere and you will see how people suffer in their millions. The people are fed up with Jonathan everywhere in the country except for people who live on a different planet from ours. Jonathan can only win if the election fails to take place and if he decides that he will be extending his tenure by an 'autocratic decree' or 'fiat' in whatever form you can imagine and without constitutional backing because he is the “all powerful president of Nigeria”. In reality however, majority of Nigerians will decide the election and not a few pen robbers who live in fool's paradise and assume the people of Nigeria are 'very happy' with the present historic poverty and lack being inflicted on the country by the Jonathan misrule.

It is really sad watching you trying to fit your entire vocabulary into this distorted opinion above. However, where did you read that  I supported Jonathan or PDP?. I said APC and PDP are like Siamese twin. The same faces. Therefore, the story will be the same, if not worse. So allow me to think that you're dumb, than for you to open your mouth and prove it or you can  keep talking, someday you may say something intelligent.
