The funeral ceremony for the late Yoruba movie actress Bisi Veronica Komolafe commenced this morning Friday, January 4, 2013 at 9AM with family, close friends and colleagues in attendance.
The burial ceremony took place at the St. Mary Catholic Church, Salvation Okeepaadi, Ibadan, Oyo state after her body arrived from the Ibadan University College Hospital, UCH morgue....More pictures when you continue:

R&B singer turned Pop act Iyanya Mbuk is allegedly wanted by the Nigerian Police in Port Harcourt, Rivers State after allegedly ’defrauding’ popular show organizer Opa Williams of N1.7m being payment for the singer’s performance at two events.
According to sources Iyanya was paid the said amount to perform at two ‘Nite of a Thousand Laughs‘ events which held in Benin and Port Harcourt. The ‘Kukere‘ singer missed both shows.
The latter which was held last night on New Year’s Day featured a performance from rapper Olamide and was hosted by Bovi. Guests had waited for the singer to step on stage and thrill as the highly publicized show had promised a performance from him. Iyanya never showed up.
Interestingly, Iyanya is believed to have traveled on the same flight (allegedly paid for by the show organizers) with Olamide and Bovi.
Sources told NX the singer shunned Opa Williams’ event, performing instead, at another show in Omuma local government area, also in Port Harcourt which also featured Timaya.

Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele, has signed a multi-million naira endorsement deal with Nigeria’s top job search website, Jobberman.
The 36-year-old penned the one-year contract as 2012 came to a close and will appear in TV commercial, record radio jingles and attend Jobberman events, as part of the deal.
“Being Nigeria’s number one Jobs website, we realised that there is a need to reach out to a set of people that are not aware of the existence and usefulness of Jobberman,” a Jobberman exec said
“With over 500,000 registered users, a large number of active users of the internet are aware of Jobberman but the set of people we are targeting now basically visit Facebook and check mails only.”
A report written by popular blogger, Sheifunmi, says Muyiwa Ademola, a Nollywood actor, who features mostly in Yoruba movies, was involved in a serious road accident, as 2012 was ending.
According to the MTV presenter, “In other news, another Yoruba actor Muyiwa Ademola was also involved in another accident on December 30,2012, fatally injured and receiving treatment.” Ademola lost his father last August. It will also be recalled that another Yoruba actress, Bisi Komolafe passed away on New Year Eve.
