Veteran film maker and writer, Charles Novia, has been all over social media than he has been when he had an active movie career. Novia has aimed strong words at APC Chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who just returned from a London hospital.
Tinubu according to Novia was initially advocating for a National Conference, but suddenly turned around antagonizing President Jonathan’s plan to convene a National Conference. Charles Novia, said, “Bola Tinubu needs to go back to the hospital he had his operation done to see if they removed something from his memory box”

To debunk the viral story, the Fuji musician himself has denied the alleged romance stating Dayo Amusa is like a daughter to him. Though he didn’t deny the fact that the two are in a close relationship but he outrightly denied any romance.

Two students who decided to get it on in the school cafeteria are now facing criminal charges. According to reports, the students of Etowah High School are being charge after officials say they engaged in orál séx in the school cafeteria Thursday.
According to the school spokeswoman: “A female student allegedly made a séxual offer to a male classmate during lunch, the male classmate later told administrators that he thought this offer was a joke, but when the female student began to act upon it, the male student said he stopped her.”
Evidently, the girl made the offer because another boy “dared” her to do so. Six other male students reportedly blocked other students and staff members from seeing what was going on.
“They stacked up a bunch of books and book bags and people surrounded them so that nobody would see,” a student said.
It was also revealed that the incident was filmed by two boys, who then deleted the video thereafter.
The two students engaged in the séx act were charged with misdémeanor public indecency.
Today, Wednesday in Abuja the police arrested the Executive Director, Anti-Corruption Network, Dino Melaye, after the former House of Representatives member led pro-democracy activists on a protest urging Ms. Stella Oduah's dismissal over the armoured car scandal.
The minister of aviation has been recently attacked for allegedly ordering the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority to buy her two bullet-proof BMW cars, worth $1.6m (about N255m).
The protest, which held at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja, around 11 am, also involved the group of people supporting Oduah.
The police managed to prevent the clash between the two groups. Meanwhile the security operatives, led by an Assistant Commissioner of Police in the FCT, Sunday Olukoya, allowed the pro-Oduah protesters to leave, but stopped the bus conveying Melaye supporters, declaring that they are under arrest.
Melaye, however, asked the police to explain the reasons for their arrest.
The former lawmaker said: “When the police pension fund was stolen, we protested on behalf of the police; we were not arrested. When we protested against the theft of fuel subsidy fund, we were not arrested.
Now it is surprising for him why, when they are protesting the theft of the nation's money by the minister, they get arrested.
“The protest affects everybody; the police are also affected because they are taxpayers. I’m also a taxpayer.”
Melaye and others were later arrested by the police and whisked away in a Toyota Hilux van, marked NPS 21280 at about 1pm.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) says it is responsible for “the sabotage” today at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Refinery in Warri, Delta State. The facility was ravaged by fire.
According to MEND in a statement, ‘Hurricane Exodus’ was intended to burn down the entire refining refinery.
“As long as President Goodluck Jonathan continues to rely on an unsustainable and fraudulent Niger Delta Amnesty programme, peace and security will continue to elude his government in the region,” it said, adding, “‘Hurricane Exodus’ is on course!’”

A 28 year old Ghanaian, Mr. Derrick Addae, CEO of GIL Corporation from Kwabre-Aboaso in the Ashanti Region, has invented a pocket PC tablet which can compete with most of the known tablets on the international market like Apple’s IPad and Samsung’s Galaxy tablet.
Mr. Addae’s invention is called ‘G’ Slab and is capable of making phone calls, it has wi-fi and Bluetooth and built-in Microsoft word with which one can upload any document from USB stick or Dongle.
The ‘G’ Slab has a memory of 8GB and it can support additional memory of 64 GB and can take as many Apps as any other tablet.
The ‘G’ Slab was launched in London by the Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, His Excellency Professor Kweku Danso-Boafo at the offices of the Ghana Mission last Friday, 18th October, 2013.
Launching the G Slab, Prof Kweku Danso-Boafo congratulated Mr. Addae for his invention and noted that it took the Western world so many years to build computers and get to where they are today but he is hopeful that with people like Mr. Addae, Africa would soon be having its own computer giants too.
The launching was attended by the Ghanaian Community, staff of Ghana High Commission and staff of GIL Corporation, Mr Addae’s current company.

You have been under lots of criticisms, what would you say are the pains and gains of being Nigeria’s representative at BBA? I am usually a busy person. I don’t have a schedule. That’s a good thing because good things have been coming my way since the show. Of course, there would always be negative tales. The pains are the things I hear about myself which are quite ridiculous. They are not true. Although you ignore them but at times they affect your work.
On Thursday, October 17, 2013, two pictures went viral depicting you had actually acted in a real porn movie, what’s your take on that? I saw the pictures too. Sincerely, looking at the pictures they really look like me and they are not photoshop. I was, ‘Oh, my God!’ I can’t deny the fact that they look like me but it’s not me. If they were photoshop I would have just ignored it but it’s real. I don’t know who the person is but it’s exactly like me. However, those who know me very well can depict the truth that it’s not me.
They can do what they want to do but it would only make me stronger. Nigerians don’t appreciate their own. It doesn’t happen like that internationally. They appreciate their own. When I went to Tanzania, I know how they gave me a celebrity welcome. I think we should just start with our own. I just lost my grandmother and my mum and I are looking for ways to give her a befitting burial. It’s not easy, I am just trying to keep calm.
How then have you been handling the scandals? Sincerely, I just pray. However, I still have them at the back of my mind. There is no how they can go off immediately. It affects my attitude sometimes. At such times, I refuse to have conversation with anybody. I just want to stay alone. Nonetheless, it pushes me to put more effort in projects that fall across my path. It helps clear my mind from negative atmosphere.
So many people still believe you owe Nigerians unreserved apology for your act in BBA, what’s your take on that? I cannot apologize for what I don’t know. What exactly did I do? I don’t feel sorry. They are living their lives and I am living my own life. The only difference between us is because my own is public. And they enjoyed the platform. If you guys were locked up for 91 days you would appreciate it. It’s only someone who is involved that can speak for another person. I am a kind of person who doesn’t criticize other people and I don’t think others should criticize me.

So what did Rihanna do that was so bad? Did she spark up some cannabis atop the minaret? Did she break into the chorus of "Umbrella" during daily prayer? Nope. She took some pictures and put them on her Instagram account. More specifically, Rihanna posed for a series of photos in areas of the mosque which are apparently not usually open to visitors. Though her head was covered, as is customary, the mosque's overseers reportedly asked Rihanna to leave.

The quietly publicized, Wizkid Live Abuja Invasion held Last Night. Folks in attendance were stunned with the number of people who showed up at the concert with Wizkid the headliner with guest appearances from label mates Skales, Niyola, Shaydee.
