While Tuface Idibia and his wife Annie are trying hard to deny the story that he has put his account officer in the family way, the lady has finally broken her silence, revealing all that happened between she and Tuface.

Her name is Teniola and she is a big girl in one of the top banks in Lagos. She said 2face has been enjoying her secretly for sometime now until the "rough play" resulted in pregnancy and he started asking her to go in for an abortion but she refused. She said the story was leaked to the media so as to protect her life.

She decided to speak after Annie tried to defend Tuface. In the words of Teniola:


But now that Teniola has finally come out to speak by herself, it's believed that Tuface may decide go and do the honourable thing then keep quiet and take care of his unborn baby mama as the price of his enjoyment".

Teniola said she is not for trouble but that Tuface should know that séx without condom leads to pregnancy.

Governor Fashola who assented to the bill at the Lagos House, Ikeja, was optimistic that the law would further strengthen the State Government’s commitment towards protecting lives of the citizens.

According to the law, people who smoke in public places will risk a three year jail term.

The bill prohibits smoking in areas designated as non-smoking areas, including museums, public toilets, library, nurseries, day care centers and any facility used for the care of infants.

The law also mandates owners of public places to place signs with the inscription; ‘No Smoking’ or symbols as part of enlightenment for smokers and would-be violators of the law.

It also mandates them to create areas far from the vicinity where people could smoke. Non-compliance by owners of public places, according to the law shall attract a fine of 100, 000 Naira or 6 months imprisonment, or other non-custodial punishment that the judge may deem fit.

 the case of a corporate organisation’s refusal to place a ‘No Smoking’ sign or symbol within its premises, any personnel in the management of the corporate body would be liable to a fine in the sum of 250, 000 Naira upon conviction. This may be a director or manager in the organisation.

According to the bill, anyone who repeatedly violates the provisions of the law, on conviction shall be liable to a fine of 50, 000 Naira or 6 months imprisonment or both. While anyone who smokes in the presence of a child shall be liable on conviction to a fine of 15, 000 Naira or 1 month imprisonment.

That’s according to YES International magazine. The magazine says, Joseph Yobo’s in laws are not happy with him because he is yet to marry their daughter traditionally. They said even Ojukwu did the needful when he married Bianca, so Yobo has no excuse.
 
''Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, may have unknowingly incurred the wrath of some of his wife’s people. Yobo’s wife, Adaeze, is from Iru-Owelle Village in Awka Etiti, Idemili South local government area of Anambra State. According to one of them who asked not to be mentioned yet, their anger with the soccer star stems from the fact that he’s yet to marry their daughter traditionally.
“Yobo has not done Adaeze’s Igba Nkwu and that’s why we are not happy with him. You are a Yoruba girl, but you can go and ask your publisher, Azuh Arinze. He knows what Igba Nkwu means in Igboland, and he also knows that without it, no man can be said to have truly and fully married a woman. “We love Yobo as a footballer. We are also happy to have him as our in-law, but our tradition must be followed and respected. Remember Ojukwu and Bianca? In spite of their having a high society wedding in Abuja and all that, when the time came, Ojukwu still had to return to Ngwo (in Enugu) to marry Bianca traditionally because it is very, very important. So, you can tell Yobo that we said his case cannot be any different. He must marry our daughter traditionally. Simple”.
 
 
Igba Nkwu, indeed, is very important in Igbo land. Besides uniting the two families and formalizing the relationship traditionally, it’s also an avenue for the couple to exchange drinks publicly and announce to the whole world that they are now one. The format is usually to hand over to the bride a glass filled with Nkwu Enu (up wine), and amidst dancing around the arena; accompanied by her friends, she locates the groom, hands over the drink to him, he drinks and follows her to her parents. Both will now kneel and be prayed for, with merriment following later.
 
Adaeze’s father is the grandson of the GMO boss, Chief J.O. Igwe. GMO used to be into serious business and was one of the first Igbo companies, as far back as 1982, to donate N2million to a cause. This was when Dollar exchanged one for about N80. “GMO was the Dangote of that time in the East. The man was a member of People’s Club, the biggest social club, East of the Niger, at the time. Oliver de Coque and Osita Osadebe sang his praise in their albums”.
 
Sources close to Yobo told us that he was ready and willing to do the Igba Nkwu but for kidnapping which was rampant in Anambra State then. “That was what scared him away. Yobo is a big boy. I mean, we all saw how big his white weeding was, in spite of the fact that he didn’t announce it to the whole world then”.
 
Yobo, it would be recalled, had his church wedding in Jos, Plateau State in 2008. Currently blessed with a child, YES International! investigation revealed that he had met with Adaeze’s father, Mr. Ikechukwu Igwe, for some form of introduction in Lagos and not Igba Nkwu. When we contacted Mr. Igwe, on Thursday, February 13, 2014, he maintained that he doesn’t have any issue with his daughter and her husband. “I don’t have any problem with them at all and it’s not true that I’m not happy with them over anything”. On their inability to perform the Igba Nkwu ceremonies yet, he said he was happy with Adaeze as his daughter and Yobo as his son in-law and that’s what’s important. “Don’t listen to whoever is telling you anything on the contrary”. But still seething with rage, one of the in-laws said:
 
“Ask Yobo whether he knows where Iru-Owelle is. Ask him also whether he has been to Iru-Owelle. Our people don’t do traditional marriages in Lagos, so whatever they claim to have done there doesn’t concern us. If he wants to marry our daughter, he should come to our village''.

SIM card registration agents across the country are using pictures of goats and foodstuff instead of human beings during the registration process, Efosa Idehen, the Head, Compliance, Monitoring and Enforcement of Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC),  said on Monday.
He said: “It may interest you to know that after the telephone operators might have completed their own part of the registration and forwarded it to us as the regulators; we sometimes find pictures of goats and yams. We also do find pictures of  women with men’s name and vice versa.
“When information got to the NCC that some people were buying SIM cards without their biometrics, it became worrisome to us because the main purpose of SIM card registration was going to be defeated.”
According to Idehen, investigation by the regulator showed that SIM cards that were not registered were  used by criminals like kidnappers.

He added that the pre-activated SIM cards were usually sold at a premium sum of N1,500 as against N100 for the normal ones.

“We have had to sanction GSM operators in the past for not monitoring the activities of their agents,” he said. “Anyone who sells fully activated SIM cards is as guilty as the person who registers the card because they are not supposed to be registered before sale.

“In Osun state, I arrested some teenagers of 13 and 14 years of age, took them to their parents and verbally warned them that what their children were doing would land them in problem.”
Idehen said anyone found with pre-activated SIM cards would be prosecuted and may end up paying a fine of N200,000.

The NCC is mandated to create a credible data base of Nigerians using the GSM.

Jamie Coots, a Pentecostal church pastor and star of National Geographic’s reality show “Snake Salvation,” died Saturday night in his Kentucky home after being bitten on his right hand by one of his snakes.

The Middlesboro Police Department told WBIR that Coots was found dead in his home around 10 p.m. Saturday night after leaving his Middlesboro, K.Y., church, the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus' Name, where he suffered a bite from a venomous snake during an evening church service.

Multiple sources report that when an ambulance crew and firefighters showed up at the pastor’s residence, Coots refused to be taken to the hospital for treatment of the snake bite. Coots was a member of a Pentecostal church whose followers practice snake handling and believe in faith healing.

During an episode of “Snake Salvation,” Coots, who comes from a long line of snake handlers, said that he believed a passage in the Bible suggests that church members cannot be harmed by venomous snakebites as long as they were anointed by God, according to CNN. The passage comes from the book of Mark, chapter 16.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover,” the passage reads.

In 2013, National Geographic approached Coots and another Pentecostal pastor, Andrew Hamblin of the Tabernacle Church of God in LaFollette, Tenn., to start filming a reality series featuring modern snake handlers. Producers wrapped up filming last year, and didn’t intend to film a second season, according to TMZ.

“In the hills of Appalachia, Pentecostal pastors Jamie Coots and Andrew Hamblin struggle to keep an over-100-year-old tradition alive: the practice of handling deadly snakes in church,” a description of the show states. “Jamie and Andrew believe in a Bible passage that suggests a poisonous snakebite will not harm them as long as they are anointed by God’s power. If they don’t practice the ritual of snake handling, they believe they are destined for hell.”

Coots and Hamblin spent time searching the mountains for deadly snakes to add to their churches’ snake collections. But the practice has, on several occasions, landed the pastors in hot water with the law.

In 2008 Coots was arrested for keeping 74 snakes in his home. Nine other people were arrested as part of an undercover sting operation to seize venomous snakes in Kentucky. Last year, the pastor was given one year of probation for crossing into Tennessee with venomous snakes. Snake handling is illegal in most states, including Kentucky.

Saturday’s incident wasn’t the first time Coots has been bitten by one of the snakes he has handled. According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Coots nearly died in the early 1990s after suffering a bite from a large rattlesnake on his left arm. Then, in 1998, another rattlesnake bit Coots on his middle finger.

“I lost this finger to a serpent bite,” Coots would later say during filming of “Snake Salvation.” “The finger rotted, there was a quarter inch of bone exposed. The finger broke off.”

As was the case in Saturday’s snake-bite incident, Coots refused to be treated for previous bites as well.

“I never sought medical attention, because when I first started in church I said if I ever went to a hospital or a doctor for a snake bite I would quit church,” he told National Geographic during filming in 2013.

''We're just normal people living day to day like everybody else, most of us living hand to mouth, but what we believe, we believe, and we practice it,” Coots said in 1998, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram, has threatened to declare war on Cameroon if she does not cease to support Nigeria’s military campaign against it.

In recent times, the sect has been at the receiving end of a massive onslaught by the army in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states.
Members of the sect have reportedly fled these attacks and were said to have relocated to safe havens in Cameroon, Niger and Chad.
However, efforts by the sect to make Cameroon a safe haven have been countered by Cameroonian troops who launch regular attacks against the fleeing militants.

The threatening letter issued by the  Boko Haram state that it had no problems with Cameroon. But it added that the situation could change soon as the Central African country was interfering in matters that did not concern it. The newspaper reports in French but its story was translated (thanks to Vanguard).

“Boko Haram is ready to start a war with Cameroon and all those around the world trying to oppose it,” the paper quoted the letter as saying. The letter was written in Hausa, the language that Boko Haram has been using to communicate with journalists. It is widely spoken in some parts of Cameroon.
