God has said it in the scriptures: “My ways are not your ways; my thoughts are not your thoughts.” Why do we put WORDS into God’s mouth? God is a Supreme Being. He is God Almighty. He is Powerful. He is a Spirit. As Spirit, He is everywhere. He is Omniscience; Ever present. He punishes, He forgives. Come to think of it: How many people have we seen killed by God? We sin everyday and offend God. How many of us has He killed? Nobody can avenge for God. It is stupid to conceive of it. It is stupid to even say it. God has power to do whatever He Wills. If He lets us to live and wallow in sin, who are we to remind Him of what to do? God is not religion and religion is not God. Don’t be confused about it, period.

Chiboi123, take note of this. Don't be thinking from your stupid Ass. Reason like one who has got the INTELLECT:

4  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Check Out The Tweets Of A Nigerian Soldier Serving In The Forest Of Borno State on: 6-01-2015 07:10 PM
My dear Naijapal analysts let us for once be positive analysts. Nigeria today is rotten to the root and we too including me are not helping matters as to how we can best revive this rotten nation of ours. Our daily judgments are been beclouded with selfish interests either to protect our ergo, our covetous friends, our local governments, our failed political parties, our rotten tribes, our under-developed states, etc. Our government and YOU out there have failed us. When I talk about our failed government, I am also talking about our failed YOU. Our “failed” selves start from the community around us. We have failed ourselves in almost all areas of life- from the individual self to our family; from our family to our little village community; from our little village community to our bigger community to our town; from our towns down to our states and to a greater responsibility to our nation etc.

Our so-called vision is geared towards the self as I said before. Our sense of right is beclouded to what we can do to better yourself only. In other words, we all in one way or the other are an “I BEFORE OTHERS (IBO) instead of “OTHERS BEFORE I” (OBI). Check out the difference! When our only vision of life, the “self” or the “I” realization is achieved, nothing again around you is meaningful. We continue to acquire on and on. No other hard work. What matter is the “national cake”. By the way, who is baking this national cake) Where does he/she replenish whatever items he/she uses in baking the national cake? No replenishment, until the cake is finished. In the days and years of eating from the national cake, again nothing counts except the source. Whether somebody is sick, hungry, dying, going to school, etc around you becomes insignificant to you. This is the vision for every Nigerian today and always. This is our orientation. When the self interest is lacking, we become failed in life, we agitate, we become indignant, and we become aggressive. We carry this on and on and inflict it on and on. We criticize on and on. A failed person can not and can never resurrect anything.

The moment we make ourselves true and good and live by it, the better we become “OTHERS BEFORE I” This is the true person who thinks about the affairs of others and his community, his state, his nation. He does not start his ergo vision from the self. He is the leader material. He is the presidential candidate. This is the true politician. In a bigger picture, this is the person that meditates always on: “what can he/she offer or do for his/her nation? He sacrifices himself or herself for the good and service of his/her people. He criticizes positively for the interest of the public. He does not incite, instigate or sponsor war and hatred, suggests for anarchy in the land or in public places and strikes etc. In a small picture, he does not cheat or fraud his customers, clients, look for occasions for cheating etc. He does not increase the prices if his commodity during festive seasons. He is not inconsiderate to his neighbors with his/her generating plants carbon emissions. He does not twitter like the soldier in this article while on duty, chat, but care for his/her job, the environment and all and sundry etc

Do we have such people in our country today? Do we have such people in politics today? Do we have such people in the military today? Do we have such people in all spheres of our national institutions, companies, factories, higher institutions of learning? The answers to such endless questions are simply NO. Who is such a person without fault in Nigeria? Nigeria is rotten to the root as I said earlier because the soil on which Nigeria stands is no longer fertile. Nigeria is facing draught today because there is nobody to water it all. Like Majek Fashek, let us pray God to “send down the rain” which is YOU and I to water and give food to this “tree”. Nigeria. All the Nigeria administrations have failed us in the past. GEJ administration has failed us. YOU and I out there have failed us. The only thing that is constant is Change. Change is all we need to a better Nigeria. This Change subsists in reality. And this reality is YOU and I.

8  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Lola Omotayo's Sends Out Message To Her and Peter's Haters ! on: 22-07-2014 05:41 PM
When has it become our  culture (African/Nigerian) for a wife to take up the responsibility for the men in the family? This culture is  generally common to all Nigerian tribes.  I don't think that this valuable culture is different from the Yoruba culture. Even if the Yoruba share different cultural idea concerning the African extended family responsibility, I know too well that it is common to the Igbo for the men to handle family matters and issues and not the wives let alone the women to summon elders or family members either to detest, castigate, correct and/or enforce with measure any wrong-doings/goings in the Igbo cultural family setting. The women in this forum, please don't misunderstand me in this context.

Lola is a woman and comes from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria. She was only married into an Igbo culture. This confers on her to share in a wider sense the Yoruba/Igbo cultural values. Since when has this singular and noble Igbo culture changed to see Lola take charge of family responsibility in the Okoye family- 'the Squares' (the squares of Peter and Paul and their wives or the squares of Jude and his wife)?  Why do we, after we see the mouth, we still ask the useless question:  'where do we feed for a meal? Since when has Lola become the head of the entire Okoye family? Being elderly does not confer on her the Igbo rights of a senior wife of the Okoye family. Better still, is she charged to sit for the seat of the elder in the Okoye family? I still know little of the Igbo culture- the wife of the most senior in the family is usually considered a senior wife whether she is young or elderly. This office does not also entail that Lola deputizes the office of the men in the Igbo cultural family setting even if we confer on her, this office in virtue of her age.

We know the truth about this valued culture across the Africa and the country in particular. I wonder why we lay hips of blames on Lola Peter Okoye. The comments I read every time on Naijapals about her seems discriminating. It is 'un-african' to do so . It is unethical to hold such opinion and is morally wrong to think along that line. Why then do we hate to this African lady/woman? As I said above, I have been reading some write-ups on the Okoye family and the wished role we want Lola to play. I state categorically here that it is not solely her responsibility to do so. It is Jude Okoye-the eldest of the "Squares". Lola Okoye as a wife to her husband can only suggest, contribute, urge and/or influence her husband's decision to unite or make-up with his brothers who happen to be her brother-in-laws. But What if she does urge her husband and he pays deaf ears? Will she kill her husband? Will she come up to the public to wash her family's dirty linens or asks for the public to exonerate her? As a good wife that I think she is, she must defend her husband and family at any time in the face of unwanted and useless criticisms which we all would expect our wives to do in our own family situations.

But for the records, "No Human Being is  a Divine. Lola is not neither was her mother-in-law and as such, ought not to look into the metaphysical realm or into the supernatural world. She was not a witch if I may say. So her insistence for Peter not to marry his soul-mate was only and merely her personal opinion and thus was only a subjective thinking, Period!!! My candid advice to us all is: Let Lola and her family be. We and/or our wives are not better off. We should remove the big log in our eyes before we attempt to help our neighbors remove theirs. Most of our comments here are not educative. They are not corrective. They are not in the affirmative etc. Think thrice!!!-about yourself, about your family and about the general public.

Mr Man, when will people like be transformed by education or grow up? It pains me to  see persons who even pass through the four walls of an Institution, yet have low IQ; have low mentality; are 'mentalows'. Of course, I know that one can pass through the walls of a school, without the school passing through one. Let me ask you: must every person (man or woman) marry? It is even written in the scriptures that  "some people are born Eunuchs, while some make themselves Eunuchs" Do you understand what Eunuch means? But I think that instead of  Rita Dominic to  marry "men" like you, she better make herself a perpetual Eunuch. People like you don't have anything to offer as a 'real' man. You better grow up! Be rational at least, for once, unless you have lost your thinking faculty.

Husband Snatcher, no time to waste
[/color]

Miss Hate,
If I can deduce anything from this comment of yours, I will only say that you are a hater and heartless woman. The 'real women', the women of substance and of values and of course, the fulfilled women are out there crying out their eyes and sympathizing with the aggrieved parents of the abducted children and you are here calling your fellow woman,  a "HUSBAND SNATCHER". Of course, "you said have no time to waste" , it is not a slip of tongue. You have no time and will never have the time in your life to face similar situations like this or situations that are beyond you.
Since "you have no time to waste" as you thoughtfully said, it is imperative then that people will not 'have their time to waste' on your behalf in any of your cases.  Remember, vox populi vox Dei. Igwe bu ike!

But wait oh, what were you thinking that Stella's message and concern made no impression to you to the extent that you showed yourself being insensitive to a national issue like this that calls for immediate attention? E hm? Miss Hate, I am asking you?. Hah, for posterity sake, I advice you to remove this post or better still write a rejoinder. What a silly comment in the name of "freedom of speech and of expression"!
Your comment said it all about you.

Besides calling to order, get it into your thin skull: No woman is a husband snatcher and no man is a woman/wife snatcher. It is the decision of any of the parties to quit an existing marriage. It is all about the same FREEDOM which we always abuse. It is a freedom of choice.
Don't crucify anyone- man or woman until you see yourself in a similar situation.

Lest I forget, correct that hateful impression you created above. It would have been better if your hate or critic came at a right time and on a right topic. I am not placing you on any curse anyway, but your  lukewarm attitude towards the issue at hand which I am responding to, seemed as if I am cursing you. I am not. But correct that hateful comment. You are a woman who may be in the same situation like the Chiboks.  Be your brothers keeper.

my sister listen to me, we are in Nigeria where any thing can happen, i may not be much learned, that is they way i choose it but am not doing bad in times of finance which is most important in a mans life, but i have a lot of powerful family members who are into government.  all this news are northern propaganda  they just want to put the whole nation under Apokolips with all this fake news, 95 percent of northern girls don't go to school they marry before the age of 13, how come we have 213 girl in one local village who are in school, please let them come up with some thing better we are not all  idiots, let them give the name's and picture of the missing one to government and that will help our government to do a better job in searching of them .
i rest my case.

Thank you my dear for this naked truth. The problem we have in this forum is that we are emotionally imbalanced. We lack or have no sharp thinking faculty. We do not the trend of things. When experienced persons think, we criticize their thoughts. We forget that: "EXPERIENTIA  DOCET"-experience teaches. This is Nigeria. These propaganda have political undertone-all in the name to tagged the present dispensation BAD and INSECURE, though it is. Every propaganda is channeled towards toppling the government by those that think the cap only fits in their uneven heads. Both the ruling and the ruled parties know what is on board and when some of them are touched and speak out, we should listen to them. We act on such utterances rather than sit down on a warned-out keyboard of a dirty computer or ipad or phone to criticize their thought-provoking statements. Let us grow up.
