Wow, real men don't allow life difficulties/// pride gets in their way of finding ways to move ahead in life. In most countries some men have university degree as a chief. They cook for a living, they are well  paid, and are well  respected. It is only in Africa People find it odd for a man to cook/ sell food for a living.  Good job man for not letting your current situation put a stop to your life. May God expand your business.

Since your ignorant father don't know what  physical and emotional abuse can result to, + the fact that some African police don't believe in putting an abusive husband away so they don't kill their wife,  do whatever you can to get yourself and your children out of the mad man house. Also, I hope u were not just a house wife because that is the mistake most African women make that rendered them powerless most of the time, especially in a situation like this. When the abusive man know u have no source of income, no money to take care of yourself and your children should u decide to run away from his abusive self. Lessons to all u married Women get your hand busy... Work. Be independent it will save you if u find yourself in this type of situation.

That is his own view. My is get married when you are matured enough to handle marriage difficulties together with a good source of regularly income for both couples. So you don't go running around looking for money to solve financial difficulties when children start coming. I don't advice anyone to get married at 20 or 24 marriage is not for children only the matured mind and those who have source of income can keep marriage going. And for those who say marriage is not all about money, you are deceiving yourselves. Marriage and money go together. Your wife, children, and including you the man of the family won't be happy if you all are living from hand to mouth.

Am not surprise some Naija tribe just love marrying many women and enjoy populating the country with lot of children they can't  even care for.

Lovely seeing African men cook, because majorities of them just sit and expect their women to do all the cooking for enternity. I just love guy that know how to cook. To me that's what I call romantic.
