Ado Bayero Returns From Medical Trip Abroad

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero, was yesterday received by thousands of residents who gathered around his palace and the Airport Road in Kano as he returned to the state from a medical trip in London.

Bayero, who arrived at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport around 7pm, was led straight to his palace and did not address the crowds.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the emir’s son and district head of Dala local government, who spoke to journalists over rumours that his father had died, urged members of the public to always shun such rumours.

Among those who received the emir were all the district heads in Kano State.
