The four- man gang dragged the vice-chancellor out of his car and bundled him into theirs and sped off to an unknown destination.The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Enugu State command, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the kidnap.He said the police were already on the trail of the culprits.The wounded police officers, according to the PPRO, were being treated at an undisclosed hospital.The university's public relations officer, Ossy Ugwuoti, who spoke to The Nation, said no demand has been made by the abductors.He said authorities of the university and the securities were already on top of the situation.]
