Senate allows in the 21 ministerial nominees, which list was submitted last week by President Muhammadu Buhari for the Upper Chamber to begin screening them, with former Senator Udoh Udoma to be the first of the nominees to be screened. Also accompanying the nominees in were the National Chairman of the All Progressives Party (APC) Chief John Oyegun and Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang among others. Senator Udoma gives a brief speech about why he in the Senate to seek the Upper Chambers’ endorsement to become a minister. He is currently being grilled by the Senate President Bukola Saraki, who said Udoma should give a brief summery on how the economy could be turned around. He is later asked to take a bow by his former colleagues and allowed to go.
