this ijebu people get problem ooo, how many is all of the ijebu that will collect state, when obasanjo was there, he did not even considering giving them, he told them it'd not possible for them to have a state and after giving them the state, the very big problem is where to put the capital, ijebu ode wants the capital likewise remo.... what's even the length and breadth of Ogun state, that will make you remove ijebu from them...  I think king should just go and sleep... r the igbos requesting a state for ojukwu or are the hausas requesting a state for bayero or Dan fodio.... please go and sleep... and don't compare us to US... or is there Lincoln state??

I really respect Awolowo, as a great man that he is but then,There are so many things that should be focused on, e.g job opportunities, security, electricity, and good roads.. If these can be achieved, then they are free to move onto the next one.. Which is creating a state in his name, that's my notion towards this, thank you!

Awolowo was described by his peers as the best president Nigeria never had. He was a great man for Yoruba land, but caused a lot of political divisiveness and frictions in the country. Part of the ethnicity issues we are dealing with today was caused by him. But the creation of another state should not be a priority in a country so wrecked and turn to pieces by poor leadership and corruption. When the time comes, sure enough, there would be many other statesmen that would get that recognition.
