Let's sort out some spiritual technicalities here. God would not tell any man to have more than one wife because God expressly forbids polygamy -- see Deuteronomy 17  Neither shall he multiply wives to himself that his heart turn not away --  This man is being conned by satan who can be quite convincing. Also - only God can heal and He heals those who are worthy and who follow his Commandments. 

This chappie probably means well but has got himself in a bit of a spiritual mess. satan is playing to his ego (as satan always does)and making a fool of him.  I wonder what would happen if all his wives started to systematically divorce him. If he started out quite rich he could very quickly end up with nothing.
