A man has taken his proposal to his girlfriend to the next level as the unidentified man can be seen prostrating to his surprised girlfriend with the ring in front of him.  The photo of a man who damned tradition and chose to prostrate to his girlfriend when he asked to marry him, emerged online on Monday night, and has already gone viral.

 
As the image which was shared by the sister of the bride-to-be (@titithegawd) on her Instagram page, makes round on social media, many Nigerians saw the gesture as hilarious, romantic, unusual and definitely 'extra.'
 
Some other Nigerians have also weighed in on the shocking proposal with admiration as well as condemnation as to the actions of this full-grown man lying face-down on the ground to seek the hand of his beloved in marriage.
