Tayo Faniran was assaulted and strangled by South African police officers yesterday morning, the July 25th , while driving to a meeting for a discussion about his brand.

 The assault incident was captured in an Instagram Live video, and it ensued from his refusal to ride in the police car to the police station after denying access for a search on his phone.

Following his insistence on riding to the police station in his own car and refusal to turn off the Instagram Live recording, Tayo Faniran was assaulted and strangled by the South African policemen.

The Ex BBA housemate spoke for the first time after the rather sad and unfortunate incident

I will personally tell God, when I get to heaven that  Africa is a very big mistake that needed not to be repeated Again!. Face to face talk. Infact, I've jotted it down in my diary in case I forgot.

You have to wake up, first the youths, you have to wake up and how, by reading, by exploring beyond your boundary and appreciating history, So we can develop our nations, through knowledge, the African is still considered a lower human.
