i am from china,
about 10 months ago i met a guy from nigeria, then we started dating, sometimes he is very sweet,
but sometimes he can't keep his promise,though it might be a small one,
i think if one cant keep small promises, how can he keep big ones? 
we cant often agee with each other,
he says in his country a wife should always do as the husband tells, but i would say that's not our culture,
we do only the things both agree,
and he tells me he has no wife or kid in nigeria,but how shall i know its true or not?

who can tell me how to find out?

Well, to be quite honest i don't really think there's a way you can know unless you start asking people he hangs with and stuff but 4sure u know shit will hit the roof when he finds out and if he really doesn't av a wife, u've broken the trust. I would advise that unless u actually see urself settling with this man/ see something that remotely resembles a future 4 u 2, u should not waste ur time taking bullshit, my 2cent, hope it is useful.

ive stayed in china b4, marriage or serious relationship between nigerians and chinese is very hard, chinese want too much love like holding ahnd and cudling all the time and thats is not really our style, what ur man told u about woman duing what the man says could be truth but..most young nigerians dont live like that anymore...however, most of nigerians in china are single..so he might be single too,cant be 100% sure though, but first i must ask u, is there a special need this young man need from you that is gething u this scared...if its all about love en relatioship, then ride on with him..sorry i mean go on, you cant make it in the love world if u dont wann take risk....i wish u the best
